AnonD-5197, 27 May 2011Actually... I haven't seen anyone at the mall paying for cl... moreThat was I already do it since 2003.

You can use your PPC like a credit card using the code bar launcher and other stuf.

That's why I say is not new for me, even I used my old Dell V50 with Microsoft PocketPC to pay restaurants and Walmart stuff.

Is cool features, but is not Android only news...Much of the stuff they are releasing we already use it in other platforms...more primitive, but the idea was already exploded...

This is the kind of stuff they're talking about. Going to the corner store and purchasing a candy bar with tap of your phone.

Sucks if you go to pay for something and realise your battery is dead. I'd say there is a certain novelty to a wallet that doesn't require power.

Well this kind of software isn't new..

In WP (Pocket PC) has a plenty of this kind of software (wired and Wireless) eWallet, My Wallet, Code Wallet Pro, and more.

Even you can pay in the past via PPC with bank of america direct account with the phone like was an credit card (coded bar-data bars), there's nothing new here from a guy that uses Phones for more than 20 years :P

This is some amazing tech that will speed up the checkout process. Its really a shame though as it seems as if only SPrint Android phones can do this right now.

                        Dear all.

I would like your honest answers here.

Which one is easy to steal from a regular person, a phone or a wallet?

Many people leave their phones on the table when they are having dinner and what not because of its clunky size.

I am pretty sure Google thought this through, but the case in the Republic of Korea (SOUTH) NFC was used in early 2000 for the same purpose of the Wallet App. but was later on disappeared due to security reasons.

anyways, I would hope that the people in Google are smarter than those in Korea back in early 2000. (i'm not saying koreans were stupid, it's just that nobody thought about it from the muggers POV)

Thank you for reading, i wish you all a very happy evening.

                        Cheers,
