Mix 2 would indeed be cr*p because it reverts many/most of the innovations of Mix 1. The giant flat screen on a tiny package, the useful/usable aspect ratio, the sleek look.

I couldn't possible buy a phone with different size bezels top and bottom, it just wouldn't work in landscape.

Dont look at screen size, look at device size. That is a miniscule device given the screen size...

cut the bezel on the bottom, and make it 5.5" max. I'd like to buy one if these change could be implemented.

Snapdragon 835 chipset, 256 GB storage, bezel-less design and 4,500 mAh battery sounds awesome. I still feel that instead of having such a prominent lower bezel (relative to the other sides) they increase the upper bezel and accommodate a normal earpiece and front camera over there.

Well not completely bezeless as the concept video but still nice. Will prob still have the highest screen to body. I'm just glad the screen is flat!

Bezel-less? What's that thing in the bottom? Looks like a bezel to me. Looks like Apple is the one that's the closest to a bezel-less phone. Never understood the camera below the screen.

I've been a LONG time Galaxy S Active series user. Thought how nice it would be to finally get a nice phone with a curved screen and water resistance with the S7 Edge... not such a good idea. In order to get around the fragile nature of that screen it had to go in a rugged case. Making the edges of the screen a giant PITA to even get to. And it was still super fragile plus super expensive to repair (as in cheaper to replace) if something happened to it.
Went back to the S8 Active and I'm SO happy to see the monster battery, flat screen and rugged phone all in one.

There needs to be SOMETHING between the display glass and the frame or else how tf would the phone stay together? There's a degree where you just need to count the remaining "bezel" as part of the necessary structure of the smartphone (i.e. frame).

I see 4 bezels, bezels are any padding which isn't screen, that black line is still a bezel despite it being thin.

This screen, no matter bezel less or not is no longer phone or phablet. It is just a tablet size. If you want to place a plate to your ear - go for it.
In my opinion, not everyone, 5.5" bezel less screen is maximum to be one hand operated. This will go near 7" screen. It is huge and not comfortable to use. I had tablet for browsing etc. I need a phone.
This is definitely not for me.

Mi MIX came first, 2016, well technically Sharp Aquos is the first device that came with bezel-less design, then followed up by Xiaomi Mi MIX in 2016

ssbatman21, 01 Sep 2017First MI MIX was a great phone ruined by average camera har... moreAfter seeing the camera reviews for the Mi6, Mi Max 2 and Mi 5x, it does seem like that they are finally paying attention to the cameras. And they don't really use bad sensors. They just neglect the software.
If I remember correctly, the LG G6 uses a sensor that is worse than the ones in the some of the recent Xiaomi devices (Mi6, Mi5s {this one has the same sensor as the pixel, the best camera in phones right now}, Mi Max2. etc). Still the G6 takes better pictures. So I think it is safe to say that software does play a big part in camera performance.
