(Brazil got and India did not get..explain this).The whole group more or less has migrated to Nokia phones. It is "herd" effect.

Great phones and great price for the k8 plus but the software slows it down, it could be a great android one phone but it still is a great vfm device!!!

dumbo, 06 Sep 2017is it true there are no custom roms for mediatek powered phones?I wouldn't go as far as saying that there are NO custom roms for MediaTek phones, but it is true that MediaTek phones usually do not receive much aftermarket development. This is because MediaTek is very stubborn in not releasing the kernel sources for their chipsets unless a company using their chipsets pays them an extra fee, and so very few MediaTek phones have dedicated aftermarket software support.

stock android, with lenovo battery will still flat for at least 3 years (better than galaxy battery life)

Is the Lenovo K8 plus specs and price for real? If so, then it is the best deal there is in the lower midrange segment. Is there any other phone 5.2" or below that has a dual primary cam setup? (I mean except Xiaomi Mi6 because that's upper midrange or even top of the line level.) There are so many phones from other manufacturers (Oppo, Vivo, Nokia, LG) that only have a single primary cam and a non-power efficient SoC (MT6750 or SD430/435), some even only have 720p screen resolution yet are priced almost twice as much as this. We need to give credit to Lenovo for this product and I hope many people will buy it so other true value-for-money phones will follow in the future not just from Lenovo but hopefully from all other manufacturers as well.
