Still going to buy this, but my ideal tablet would have 1280x800 resolution, 7.0 or 8.0 inches, Snapdragon 625, and a 6,000 mAh battery.

2 Gigs of ram will be useless. Nougat will occupy atleast 1.8 gigs at normal operation

Force Majeure, 09 Sep 2017An 8" tablet with no storage, shitty CPU and 1280x800 res?!... moreYou obviously lack the foresight businesses do!! Who buys tablets these days??? Companies do!! Companies with thousands of employees!!
Which means they need thousands of tablets!
You need to get out more and use your eyes.......
Here in the UK, Homebase and B&Q to name but a few.
Train companies issue there drivers tablets to carry all there necessary documents for there duties which also cuts down the amount of paper wastage from issuing every driver these paper documents weekly, monthly and yearly!
I just hope you don't have a job in marketing because your company would be bankrupt with people like you working in it!

Nadie, 09 Sep 2017sorry dylan, this response is supposed to be for this guy. ... morePoint is to make it light, compact also you can disable touch on edge. And include pressure sensitive sensors so you can turn/browse page by just pressing finger. Nobody did this because Apple goes solo in premium...

vrvly, 09 Sep 2017No bezelless wide screen, hi res, best battery/proc. perf.,... moresorry dylan, this response is supposed to be for this guy. nobody has done bezel-less display because it doesn't make sense on a tablet. just try to imagine where you're going to hold a tablet without putting too many fingerprints on it if it were bezel-less.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2017I have a Galaxy Tab A 7". For the price, it's quite patheti... moreOr you could go for a former flagship tablet. I went with a Sony Xperia z2 tablet. Snapdragon 801ab, 3gb ram. Only limitation is it's stuck on 6.0.1 but if you're willing to 5inker with it you can get fully working 7.1.2. I paid 150 pounds for a grade a/b device

vrvly, 09 Sep 2017No bezelless wide screen, hi res, best battery/proc. perf.,... moreThat's. .. a midrange tablet. Asking for 4K is not a realistic demand. Neither is a SD660 or 835, even if the SD 630 would've been the perfect choice .And bezeless screen tablet would be very unpractical. The CPU used is an SD425, with a poor Adreno 308.
It is likely that the tablet will make it as the Tab A2 S in some markets with an SD427

An 8" tablet with no storage, shitty CPU and 1280x800 res?!?!
Years ago I bought a Nvidia Soc Tablet with same res, same storage for €90. Would be €50 now.
Is this thing a hoax or what? Who buys tablets anymore?
