KamiGame, 02 Jun 2011OMG NGP gonna get worriedYou shouldnt worry really. At the end of the day having actually buttons to play games and proper analogue sticks is still best for playing games. Majority of mobile phone game players are usually the Casual market. not so much the hardcore. yes the Casual market is bigger, but even for a casual player to play on a mobile phone can get irritating cause of the onscreen buttons being in the way of seeing the full picture. Yes the games are cheaper on mobile, but honestly to me its half baked. One or two games are really great and on Iphone the games are good, but majority of the mobile market isnt all that.

Now im no fanboy cause i love gaming as a whole regardless of where im able to play games on it. even mobile, but as far as mobile phone gaming is concerned. The only games ill play on there is short burst type games like Tetris type games, Solitaire stuffs. Not the bigger games like Battlefield 2 and say GT5 on ps3. NGP will have its own market and there WILL be people that will buy it. infact i think more will invest in the NGP than what is investing in the 3DS and i have played the 3DS for a while. Its good, but not something i would really buy given the bad lineup of games they had so far. If companies like Sony never made the NGP or 3DS without thinking there is a big market for it then they wouldnt invest millions to develope them. Mobiles, Portables and consoles have there customers. It all boils down to proper marketing and quality.
