The reason for the delay of the 9900 series is because RIM is having trouble with the new version 7, there is only a BETA version out right now.

They could take Nokia C3 or Samsung ch@t.

BB is for people who are looking for the best way to communicate, the best efficient apps for real time services then choose a BB

Not. It's just a phone. My gf is a diehard BB fan. I'm for android. You don't have to say that to lift yourself up. Just saying.

[deleted post]People buy blackberry because not everybody likes android and other types of touchscreens. Some people just want a simple keyboard smartphone that they can use for calling and texting. Not everybody needs an eye candy phone just to look cool and be down.

[deleted post]Think i am going to have to agree with you as i was choosing between nokia E6 and BB 9900..I was leaning more towards 9900 due to auto-focus which i use a lot.I wonder how these jelly lenses are and if there effective in close up mode. Its typical always a compromise and we are in 2011 now.!!

I have a Storm2, and I'm very satisfied. The OS is much more mature and stable than Symbian or Windows. Looking forward to Bold 9900, 'cause its slim, light and has a powerful processor and great QWERTY keypad

I agree with you as my daughters use the balckberry for the BBM and I have it also for otheer reasons too
Still Blackberry should change their policy in Liberaizing their platform that to be used freely even without having the blackberry system , since these phoes are useless if you dont have the blackbery service

Blackberries have great ergonomics and come with built in personal management software which is superiour to almost anything that you can currently get on any mobile platform. Push email isn't the great deal clincher that it once was but data security and a high level of integration with corporate information systems make it a favourite in the corporate sector. Teenagers love it because you get "free" instant messaging with Blackbery Messenger. Granted that other cross platform instant messengers are available, but there are far too many. So you could spend your life trawling the market for an IM client that is compatible with whatever your mates want to use, or, you and your mates could get a Blackberry and get on with your life. Just like with IPhone and Android, there does seem to be a feeling among some groups that, if you haven't got a Blackberry you're not quite where the party is at. My late-teenage daughter loves her Blackberry and can't for the new Bold. My other daughter in her early teens loves her QWERTY messenger but craves a Blackberry.
Would I buy a Blackberry? No! (partly because I don't want to carry a separate FM radio).
Would I say that Blackberries are a useless piece of anachronistic rubbish? No! (Mostly because I would struggle to spell anachronistic before lunchtime on a Saturday)
