Will they really market the V30 with a thousand dollar price tag? I'd rather go for an iPhone X even though I'm an android user. Lol.

no removable battery, no thanks. i am not spending $1000 on smartphones that get rid of features and are not even worth half of that.

And not to state the obvious (again I must, since you feel like being a know-it-all twit on the site), but these sites require postings in English for convenience and so that there is a common language amongst people from different countries (Duh, I know, but you seem to have ignored this). So it may seem useless to you that this story was posted here. However, to Koreans on this site, it was relevant news. And, yeah I am sure they flocked to local tech sites as well.

No kidding Sherlock, ya think? My point though, is that Koreans living in Korea would not likely come to GSMArena to read this news in English. They go to websites in their own language for that, just like Americans would to sites in English instead of Korean to look for US release dates of their favorite smartphones. In other words posting this news here is of no use to English speakers or Koreans. I can't believe I even have to explain something this simple to you people!

Here is mine: I made a phone call to LG electronics USA last week to find out if I bought a new LG G6 Plus on Amazon.com if they would honor their warranty, and they said no (!). I asked the man if he was seroius and he said "yes". So, I went and sought out other brands. LG: G6 sales in the states are considered to be a flop. When a guy calls to make sure that you'll honor your own warranty on one of your new phones and you say no, he has little choice but to buy another manufacturers product. I like the G6 Plus because it has more memory than a G6, small bezels, and quad dac audio output. However, I need a manufacturer to honor their warranty.

They make real good flagships (am current V20 user), but unfortunately they ship these falgships very very late. In some countries (India for example) its available only after 3-4 months from launch date. Consequently LG loses out many prospective customers to Sammy or Appy. Also they like to price their flagships at obnoxious high rate that too 3-4 months after launch. So these poor strategies lead to disaster after disaster for their otherwise superlative handsets that they produce!
LG seems to be an amateurish company in that sense, really poor marketing for good products. Hope this message reaches the LG management and they work hard on selling their innovative masterpieces.

From what I have seen this far in terms of flagship devices..if I were to buy a phone today/now it will be the V30 even tho I would've loved a bigger 4000mAh inside that baby. But we still have a few heavy weights to consider n look at...Pixel 2 XL, Mate 10, Nokia 9.
Hey ZTE what say u with the Axon 8 or Nubia??? Give us something to talk about n drool about.; )

It's not that I don't care about the Korean release. I just want to know when it is being released here. The release to Korea only does bother me, because it is a part of the greater tendency they have of reminding me that sales in my much larger country is less important to them.

If someone wanted to wait for a full review on the item, it's too late. don't want to wait for it, not like it and miss the Note8 offers. I guess i will go with Note8

News that it is being released in its home country means that release in other countries will be imminent and we can at least have a date we can reference.

A slight correction, English speaking world is beyond US, there's Canada, there's Australia and new zealand, then there's UK, the land where English originates from. Besides they started shipping V30 also means North America will get it very soon, so that was the point of article i suppose.

Can't wait to feel the phone in my pocket. My 5 years old Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is almost dead. I like the V30 because of the perfect design, great camera and astonishing audio quality.

I am waiting for it as well and trust me, i am waiting for it a lot longer than you are. Decided to buy it this January even before G6 was released, and started researching actively (everyday) from June when news started coming out. I knew that it will be the game of waiting and patience. In January i knew that i wont know anything till June-July, in July i knew that i wont see it until 31st of August, and on 31st i knew that i wont be able to buy it until at least the end of September. And i really need it before 7th October because that is the day when i am going to an important trip to a few countries in Europe and i need that camera. If it appears while i am on a trip, i will just get it there (sorry for my long story). So i wanted to say, just a little more patience please. LG is really unpredictable this time, but from the experience i had acquired in last 6 years of LG phones, i am pretty sure that V30 will be released in entire world on 1st of October (beginning of the month).

I want this phone because of its camera. No other competitor has the same camera system. To buy Note 8. iPhone (dual cam), S8 or so is no choice for me. This is a big advantage for LG. And that is why I have no problem to wait a little bit... Nobody else offers what I need...
