Have you seen iph8 video samples? Sound is second important component of video rec, and sound rec is atrociously bad and still mono on iph8.

I don't think the older phones got their scores changed by more than a point anyway which means they added something new and modified stuff accordingly , not changed the whole approach as you are saying. They were the same back then and are same now just with fruit advantage methods. Doesn't mean other devices are invalid if so then why cite them in first place

Even the 2015 S6 edge curved panel with 577 ppi on 5.1 was definitely a better display than iPhone X. IPhone wanted to go for curved displays too, the curved glass and earlier order news confirms that but decided to opt for cheaper displays for either availability or cost cutting. Maybe both.

It is just mathematically dubious, protocolary illogical and uneven, and not evidence based now, as it was before...
So yeah, I dont trust their results anymore.

Seriously, release a flagship phone in 2017 without a fingerprint scanner, that forces you to use an unproven facial recognition software the 8/8+ do not for the base model price tag of only $999.99 + obvious taxes + garnishes. Tim Cook really knows value right?

"DON'T BUY APPLE PRODUCTS"
stop whining like little kids because apple prices there phones higher that other phone manufacturer. People buy there phones even if its overpriced so deal with it

Apple did a big mistake by launching iPhone x suddenly iPhones are underdog in front of the mature Galaxy S8 from where they tried to borrow some outdated features like wireless charging of 2015 while S8 is on fast wireless charging, 400+ ppi amoled which powered S5 while S8 is on 570 for 5.8 inch display, curved glass but no curved display as the displays are from old tech, I'm sure samsung was charging more for curved displays and Apple compromised for the old displays to keep the cost low.

Withi iOS 11 I can now do “screen write” which I used a lot on my note5 but still the scroll screenshot feature is missing.
Sad thing is in 2017 I still can’t use mobile data to download large apps on my iPhone.

They have the control of the hardware, they make their own SoC's etc
Apple still has the advantage controlling hardware and software.

Sure it looks nice when you combine tens of Android companies together, but like you see from HTC situation, reality it's not that rosy, or Sony or LG or even samsung. Invidual Android companies are losing while Android dominating.
