I'm pretty sure syncing, downloading and uploading files has been around for years and more than a decade.

So much for this "NEW TECHNOLOGY" by Apple.

News flash to Apple product owners: APPLE DID NOT INVENT THE TELEPHONE

Maybe it's an Android thing, in that most users aren't good readers?

^^ Hmmm and look at the mess Nokia are in today! Apple is a premium brand the subtle changes in ISO 5 are all for making the life of the consumer smoother, seemless and easier!

All these Apple haters (Droiders) seem to forget, that without the 1st Apple iPhone there would be no smartphone or even Android!Today may be the case the Android is widely avaialbe across a number of phones and vendors but its quality not quantity!

some people need to read the article properly before embarrassing themselves by comnmenting.

the industry first is the fact that icloud will scan your device & see what music you already have on there which you HAVEN'T bought from itunes. It will then find that music in itunes & push it to all your devices so if you've loaded music on an ipod touch. then you buy an iphone it will automatically put the music from your ipod touch onto your iphone regardless of whether you bought it from itunes or ripped it from a CD.

That's the industry first. No one thinks that cloud computing or music streaming is an industry first but other music sites like Amazon or Spotify won't read what you've already got that you didn't buy from them & automatically send it to all your other devices...

What, you mean the... moreWell I must say innovate yes its only Nokia, as far as I remember Nokia came out with touch device way back in 2004 with a touch device 7710 or so. Well Apple is good at copying or may be finetuning it to make it percivably easier to use for us but no orignal innovation .Yes its very good at creating hype. Check out Ovi from Nokia I have used it personally its too good. Well I do use Iphone as my second device but dont know apple will come out with what all conditions and restriction

the fact is apple have introduced iCloud because it makes their OS better. the iOS is by far the easiest smartphone system to use IMO and thats what apple want a system that isnt overly complicated

so syncing all that data by using one logging details via apple servers to me sounds good and NEW from apple therefore they should tell people about it

Uff this is so old. Infact I have been doiing this all this while on Nokia Ovi sight from last 2 years. Apple needs to innvate and stop packaging old stuff and try to sell something as new. Just creating media hype will not help.
