Just finished setting up my own XZ1C, which was ordered from Hong Kong for just $500 USD. $100 less than U.S. retail, and the fingerprint reader isn't even disabled. Sure, there is no U.S. warranty, but I'm not too concerned.
Overall first impressions are very positive, this thing really flies effortlessly compared to my older Z3C!

Sony has a very bad reputation of after sales service in handling their consumers problem, especially in mobile phones after sales service, here in Indonesia. Even though they're give the official guarantee, but the service is very very bad. So im wondering, does Sony after sales service in your country has the same issue? i really amazed with sony phones, but im too afraid to buy their products due its after sales service.
The last Sony phone i used was Xperia ZL 2013 phone. Since the "sudden death" be a viral that days, and it was happened to me, and took more than 6 months to fix my phone at sony service centre. is the 'sudden death' in sony phones still happen until now?

The Phone is $600 Australian for the HK model with headphones, fingerprint scanner and a fast charger (from eglobal). $600USD for the US model is a rip off...
