This looks like a neat little phone! The looks and experience of a smartphone but with a standard default OS.

I think this phone may drive people away from their standard keyboard GSM's and partly introduce them to smartphones (touchscreen etc)

My parents (both above 50 years old) are frankly scared to use smartphones, perhaps this is just the step in between both worlds for them

    great job Motorola!

steve, 08 Jun 2011resistive screen? ew. The reason for resistive is some people do activities that require the wearing of gloves but totally understand what you mean. Saves modifying gloves or wearing special ones to access a cap/screen . Personally i'd have preferred to see it buttoned and not t/s at all

I always hated the word 'Dumbphone'. You know smartphone is not a peice of cake for everyone out there. There are two types of people who use featurephone. Mostly they don't need a high end phone to make a call and feel it's completely wasting of money on a high end 'PHONE'. And secondly those type of people who want a smartphone but can't afford one.
So basically i don't expect such type of unprofessional style of writing 'Dumbphone' while covering the news of any Featurephone. Try to avoid this next time.

Actually it already do everything we really need from a phone. Anything else is extra (which usually is even more enjoyable on a bigger screen tablet).
