More processing power is great but I think Android OS phone companies need to address power management issue in their phones. Its wonderful having a phone that can do amazing things with state-of-the-art graphics but if their battery lives can't live past 24hrs and requires a recharge overnight, every night (or a power management/task killer app) then what's the point? I enjoy a phone I can use for hours without worrying the battery will die before the end of the day. Peace of mind goes a long way. Peace

And what helps you, because software can not run a single core. This is just jebanje one and another in the main, consumers who own one sheep. heh heh. LOL.

Samsung on Steroids! Good Luck to Samsung. I don't know if this would really boost sales. Folks are already complaining about heating issues on current 1.2GHz device. NFC or not, it doesn't make a difference. Guess we will have to wait, lol.

Why people get upset if one manufacturer upgrade a product after some months ? It's like I'm gonna get mad if this month I'm buying an Intel CPU @ 3.0GHz and the next month a new CPU @ 3.2GHz comes up.

This is how the competition works. Apple should launch a new product every 2 years just so you won't feel ripped off...

I see no reason to bump it up.
All the people who care about that already bought or are going to buy a SGS2 anyway.
Samsung doesn't get that spec sheet geeks account for only a small part of the population.
Most people don't even know what a GHz is.
Try saying it's "magical"! That would make it sell!

I rather they leave all these upgrade for the upcomming GS3 which they said will be coming out Q1 2012. Guess they probably made this to provoke apple or something after all these lawsuits.

I wish Samsung new coming phone would have slightly smaller screen size than the current one. I can't hold on one hand. Does Galaxy S II has a huge screen size or my hands are just too short?

camera resolution become not so important like in the past 10 years when mobiles rise up from first models with 100.000 pixels effective to 12.000.000 pixels at n8. the cpu is now the new trend, the new specification wich seems to count very much when a buyer must make up his/her mind to buy a new mobile. samsung is playing good. the marketing knows that high end mobiles for tech maniacs must now have the magical recipe: dual core, 1.2 ghz minimum, android o.s.

I really hope they have figured something for the cooling. The last time I tried SGS II it got almost uncomfortably hot at the top corner.

I bet pure GHz is great for marketing, but maybe they should also consider durability, battery life etc.
