i just came here to read the comments =)) you guys are hilarious ... but I must say, you will never find a phone that's perfect and fully optimized to its full potential, why? 1 simple fact .... companies need to sell you more products for their profit and giving you a device that works perfect just isnt feasible for them. period.
The galaxy phones are great in many ways, but they have their issues just like any other electronic device.

Your "well optimized" system makes it difficult to transfer photos to another phone.
Your "well optimized" system doesn't have a back button.
Your "well optimized" system can only change the wallpaper.
Your "well optimized" system doesn't even have a proper file manager.
Your "well optimized" system made you go through the settings just to turn mobile data on and off (iOS 10 and below)
The list goes on...
Sure Apple phones are fast, but what's the point of having so much power if your "well optimized" system is so limited?
This is why I have my iPhone stashed in my closet and I rarely use it.

I have bought samsung devices in the past but no longer.You pay a lot for devices that aren’t well optimised, they lack software updates(way beyond other manufacters) and the costumer service is terrible.When you pay that much for a phone such as the S8,S8+ or Note 8 you want a flawless experience and these things cannot happen...If they want to compete with Apple in prices they should pay attention to these issues and start listening to costumers.Not to wonder that in China they online have 2% of market share and China is a very big one !

Everyone is going on about the Galaxy S9 from Samsung,but i am sure they will be shocking people with another phone,they will be getting ready when Apple announce there new iPhones for 2018,a Full bezeless phone with wrap around screen all way round,to put more pressure on Apple

We'll see then. But even much more important than the time of release, hopefully Samsung will correct all the lacks & flaws of the S8 duo & Note. So, in other words, hopefully the S9 will be really holistically finalized software & hardware for the time of its release... (& not just to compete with Apple, LG & all the others).

That's the right thing to do, don't rush it. Get everything right, quality control in check etc it's the only way to have major success in the market.

Good luck with that. Do you realize not whole world speak English and learning at school ? There is tons of languages. I speak fluently in German and French, English I learned from movies/games/music and Im happy with that anyway. Im wondering what languages do you know ?

The only reason the GS8 were unveiled in April was due to the Note 7 issues. Otherwise, Samsung had been consistent (time-wise) in launching their flagships.

The comments on gsmarena are the best example of what happens if you don't stay in school. Some mistakes I understand but seriously, writing some words in english doesn't mean that you speak english. Nobody understands what you mean or want. At least write in your own language so we can use google translate.

They all need to offer better hardware&Software quality and functionality. But they won't, because people are dying to have every new shiny toy they've been offered.
