The news say it is already getting there in India, and in Brazil has already received a notification that Android Oreo will arrive soon.

    Because it's strange that there are two Moto X4 versions and one of these still receiving updates and the other one don't.

        The difference is that the original edition will take longer to receive Android Oreo. Probably there by March or April 2018.

Do you realise that Sony and Motorola runs on stock android, while Samsung has like 10 times more features than Sony or Moto skins? Samsung Experience software is most advance Android software available, it takes longer to update because of the big list of features, but it gives you reach feature list, it is the best software package skin in Android world.

                  For $100 extrs, we r getting fast charging, better display, soc, build , design & waterproofing..
                  Better cameras too.

                  X4 is a premium midranger like Samsung A series.

                  MiA1 is just a cheaper alternative to Moto G5plus.

                        I want to buy this Motorola X4. I'm from Spain.

                        If I buy now, would I receive Android Oreo update?

                        Or maybe are there differents kind of Moto X4 devices ???
