It also runs on PC and there are many who use the PC app. It only need to update the pc app it's a universal app and no extra coding is needed.
Like this there are many heavy games in windows phone and its still good for gaming.

If they sell this phone in India it would sell better. People are looking for the maximum specs and the minimum price.
For example. Redmi 4, a 100 dollar android smartphone has 2 gigs of ram, snapdragon 435, 16 GB internal memory, 720p Lcd screen. 13mp back camera, 5mp front camera and Full Hd recording. Etc and its selling like hot cakes.
Now Consider this phone at the same price, 4 gigs of ram,snapdragon 820, 64 Gb internal memory, 1080p AMOLED screen, 21mp back camera, 8mp front camera and 4k recording.
So tell me which is the better deal,if you ignore app gap.

If this phone was sold in India for this price, I would have bought it instead of buying my 170$ Redmi Note 4. I would have saved 70 dollars in that way. I don't use much apps and windows phone is okay for me, and snapdragon 820 is way more powerful than the snapdragon 625.

Windows Fans Brace Yourself for Give if Free, I will Take it Comments.
As For value, it can run Spotify, Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook, and many games without any lag. And you wil not find phones with that specs (like snapdragon 820) for that price.Its very good for basic users who do not use snap chat.

I have bought 4 lumia phones in last 5 years. Managed to sell 2 of them and have to donate rest two. No matter how tempting this looks trust me it's low price is not worth it unless you are planning to use it for only camera, music player and cellular calling. For rest of the functions, prepare to be frustrated.

Wow, if it's available in India at this price, I would immediately buy this. With that processor and os it would be a beast to work.
Missing windows phone OS. Just took my old Lumias and updated to latest security update yesterday.

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2018It's 2018, nobody wants a Windows phone.I would like a new Windows phone if MS would still continue developing it. That smooth UI with great customisation options and the live tiles + keyboard + camera app, are the best I've used.
And I had Android flagships before, Blackberries, and now an iPhone.
While iOS tops Android in most aspects, I would gladly swap it for a Windows phone - if just the OS would still be updated in the future.

There is a fair amount of apps that could take davantage of the SD820 even on WP. And an SD820, FHD SAMOLED, 21MP 4K camera and security updates till 2020 at only 100$? At that price this is simply the best phone for value.

You buy that phone and you're stuck with the same apps or you won't even have the apps everybody uses on windows phone since nobody cares anymore.
It's like you buy a Pagani Zonda but it doesn't exceed the 50 km/h. Totally useless

I just saw it with $169 at Microsoft store.
However, the device has only the LTE bands 2/4/12. Useless to me even as a spare device.
