[deleted post]Man i am not either of that.
Xiaomi delivers great devices and do a great job no matter how you look at it.
Other competitors loosing more and more customers every year due to many own fails they did but never apologize for them.
Soon xiaomi will rule the market.
Where others brands offers mediocre dic´vices for a pric of flagships xiaomi offers mediocre devices for price of a budget or low entry model of a phone and flagships for a price of average phone from other brand you try to defend.

AnonD-80360, 24 Jan 2018did you check miui forum?. everything is there.if you mean the one that was made Brigudav, then you shouldn't count on it, as it's a custom made and not made by Xiaomi

AnonD-3678, 24 Jan 2018I don't understand why Xiaomi disable notification action, ... moreNotification action or expanded notification is still available on MIUI (atleast from 8).. but it is not one step process as we do with stock android UI. It is actually two step method - after pulling down notification panel then with "Double finger swipe down on notification" to access instant actions!!

When I already read sentence with focus on AI mean it will be useless BS which you need to avoid

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2018So? It's just gonna just a "re-arrangement" of settings, so... moreMy Redmi Note 3 Pro was Lollipop. Now it's MM on MIUI 8.5.7.0.

As for bloat, you are getting the 128/256 GB variants for the price other manufacturers charge for 32/64 GB - at least that is the case for my local market which Xiaomi officially operates in. The bloat takes up what, 4-6 GB at best............how much more storage do you need? And it also stores most of its cache in the ext memory card (if you have one in your phone).

They really need to work on their camera software tho.

I think the part that Xiaomi has to do is improving its camera through software. We know newest Pixel phone are more on software than its hardware.

So? It's just gonna just a "re-arrangement" of settings, some more official theme options, added bloat of Mi apps where half of 'em are nowhere as useful unless if you're in the Chinese market and top it all off, analytics' shenanigans you have to manually remove at every update! I should know. I'm a current Redmi 3S Prime hm3s/land user. Thank heavens for xda devs where I now finally run on Oreo 8.1 based custom ROM.

Fortunately for Xiaomi, most Redmi phones have ample 3rd dev support but it is still inexcusable to discriminate against the 90% MIUI user base who has 0 idea on the diffs between a UI to an OS, by making them believe they're running on the latest and greatest when they're actually on their day 1 Android base. Yes day 1. If you bought your Redmi phone with MM then you're stuck with that regardless of MIUI ver changes.

Artificial intelligence is important. You see, when they steal your data, the AI helps them to sort it out right away. What is more and what's less important, it really can do a lot of job for them.
