avi, 04 Aug 2011Not a big update...it wont matter even if i don't get it in... moreu r lying.because i m from india and i dont have any problem with my arc.it is very fast and now i am waiting for this update.my friends advice me to buy n8 but i dont listen to them and bought arc,now they are jealous of me.arc is 5x faster than n8.i dont know why they prefer symbian ,but i hate it ,it sucks.the best mobile os in the world ios and androi ,wp7 and then symbian.

LMFAO.. The SGS2 has a 1.2GHZ dual core processor and it's still a laggy piece of shyte. How do I know? Unlike you samsung fanboys, I actually used one before criticizing it.

hi everyone, i have the xperia arc and im in malaysia. i already have the 2.3.3 version in my unit but when i want to update for this one, it says my device has the latest firmware already. what am i suppose to do ?

It had auto restart issues, and not only me...many users faced this problem. Plz google out and u will get it!! The phone used to auto restart by itself, even when kept idle!! And thats why SE obliged to replace it.And the other one had yellow screen when tilted!!! Am I a fool to say this abt my gr8 looking designwise Arc,,,,No I love it, but it had problems!! :( :(.

A good update provided in a very short time. I think SE would like to recall their reputation those suffered with earlier Xperia model. I love the phone. well build, good quality and now can add a "good service" on top of the list for any other manufacturer.

Not a big update...it wont matter even if i don't get it in India nytime soon!!! Arc is a lovely set and thta's it...it's LOVELY!!! DLNA enabled handsets are already out, Stereo sound recording and play is there in every other this range smartphone...only thing good is that landscape homescreen, and that too a copy from Symbian^3 devices...But nyways, i will update when it comes. Instead SE shld concentrate on quality...MY first Arc used to freeze and auto restart...and then got it replaced from SE...and the second one had yellow tint on screen...got it replaced and the third had problem connecting to WiFi or GPRS.... Unlucky me :( Switched to Galaxy SII...undoubtedly the best droid to date!! Yet, practically, the most useful is my 9 mnths old Nokia N8!!!

I tried updating and it bricked my Arc. Browsing through the forums and it appears to be affecting those with unlocked bootloaders.
Mine is not rooted and with a locked bootloader :( Sent it for repairs.

though "Ginger Ela" fluid is going nicely in my X10 but i think xLoud is missing... ..
