Very happy with my Essential purchase. PH-1.2 needs to add wireless charging, IP splash/submersion resistance, 3.5mm, and more work on the camera software.
A USB-C Qi receiver from Amazon and pixel Cam apk will do for now :)

Waiting for the successor. People will start selling their PH-1 for 200. For sure the successor will be bigger and not so good in the direction of build quality.

Let's hope this could mean that the announcement of the Essential PH-2 is not far away. If they can get rid of the bottom bezel it would be the best looking smartphone on the android platform. Also the screen should be 1440P instead of that weird resolution they use now at the moment.
