But strictly answering your question, I do get security updates every month. That's also worth something.
On the other hand, this was one of the few lines that offered dual SIM + microSD combo. Sadly, this feature died with the G4 line :(

I seriously need to know which markets will get the 6 GB RAM - I need a new phone ASAP and the only thing stopping me from pre-ordering the G6 Plus is that I can only find it with 4 GB RAM. Motorola customer service chat didn't have any info to share - does ANYONE know?

No mention that it can do 4k video recording for an inexpensive smartphone. That's a good improvement over the G5 plus.
Plus it has USB-C, and Bluetooth 5.

Good try, but money will go for a more optimized and compact design, same display with smaller body, with SD636 or SD660, 6Gb and bigger battery for the same price.

The 2016 Z is on Oreo since April, Z Play got it in Brazil and India, Z2 Play too. G5 is due to recieve it this month too. They all have been constantly recieving security updates ever since they came out.
Samsung took waaaay longer to update their S8 and their S7 to Oreo.

I hope when you check out the camera, it's close to my old G3, on side by side comparison with the i Pnone X (note i not I Phone), viewing a multi-coloured scene with depth, the G3 looks exactly like the scene, the i phone looks exagerated like technicolour, superficially impressive but not real world. So you must compare each phone to the real scene NOT an enhanced version produced by the phone, so many do.

Quite an attractive phone. Sadly from what I hear, Motorola is even worse then Samsung at updates, lucky if any?.
