I got the 2.3.6 update but did not fix voice search I had to shut down completely to stop voice search. Not a fix at all

I travelled to Ottawa and Toronto and received OTA of 2.3.6 when I was back to Hong Kong. No difference so far but I noticed my hotspots setting was changed intentionally after the upgrade. After i returned my own setting, I haven't tried whether the hotspots is working yet. To be reported further.

After i installed ota update. 2.3.6 i have lost all cellphone service. my phone is not rooted. Service comes in and out but it is very week & only when i am driving. Frustrated i tried to do a factory data reset which did not help. It is still the 2.3.6 build and i have no service. Rogers knows nothing. My phone is basically a brick. What do I do? I want my MONEY back!

Updated today Oct 1st, Nexus S Rogers wireless Canada. HotSpot hosting works . No problems yet. Although I'm in toronto and I only experienced the search bug in the past while driving in low 3g signal strength area such as up north in the woods.

just finished the installation 2 hours ago... based on whati jusdt read above... its right that its not that much of a deal , i rarely use wifi or tethering .. but its better than nothing :)
