Its amazing how no one cares about Nokia/Symbian anymore to even use common sense.
I've searched a fair bit regarding this so called N8-01, WHERE in Hell did the f.ag that came up with this name get his info from, all it looks like is a generic mock up device with the purpose to show the connectivity options, just like MS use for their device renders and just like NOKIA did when S60 5th was first showcased, a generic mock up.
And ofcourse nokia are complete r.tards and just leave digitally rendered unannouced models on device setup to show the press and ofcourse the guy holding the device is a complete i.diot for having the ultimate scoop and just not even caring.
Amazing rite, oh yea and qHD LMAO now thats the ulimate joke, really qHD now can someone tell us where the res of qHD came from?
a N8-01, really now where does this info come from, does that slate look like a camera phone? are people too dumb to know it doesn't look anything like a camera concentric device... nokia's camera phones always had distinct looks.
Anyway i love the N8 and am looking forword to its succeror mean while re.tards and post garbade 8 year old kids could figure out is rubbish.

This is Nokia's strategy
Low end handsets - S40 running QT apps
Mid tier handsets - Symbian Belle,Cindy etc..
High end models - Windows Phone
Nokia, together with Microsoft, are planning an aggressive marketing campaign that will target both distributers and re-sellers(predominantly carriers) as well as consumers. At a cost of $200 million+ (combined) it won't be easy to ignore.

As I have read, their flagship, the N9 will be released in December. :P Why the heck they need half a year to release a phone??

fastest is not just from start to first click of the shutter. It's also how fast your lens could capture. And n9 clearly has the fastest lens at f/2.2. It is important to know that within 2.6 seconds N9 produces quality photos as usual as nokia high end phone does.
("Web browser supports multitouch of up to 6 fingers at once. (maybe more?)"- who cares about this, you want to use 6 fingers or what??)
of course nobody has to care. it is only a fact about N9.
("N9 has the world's first full touchscreen OS. no front bttons unlike sg2"- and so what if the SG2 has buttons? I think that it's really good that it has buttons. Do you want to praise Nokia because they made a phone without buttons?? Without buttons it's harder to use the phone.)
i think swipe is easier to use. Maybe that's why next google phone is buttonless as someone mentioned here.
(Please think a little bit about this. If Android is so weak, then why it has a lot of companies and fans?)
I don't think anybody thinks android is weak. what they are saying is Android weak in some area when compare to any other superior OSs. Of course android has many OEMs.Android is a great open source OS that matches today's tech and fashion. it is great alternative to iOS.iOS is a close OS so no OEM can use it. so they had no any choice but to take android as a go. At the time symbian was behind touch technologies and so companies like sam,son left symbian. but today symbian Belle offers some fancy touch interface, may help them to gain some new markets or even struggle in market.

My nokia phones been drenched in the rain, dropped, somehow still survives beyond 3 yrs.
Once again, i dont go for what is popular & in thing. That's for youngsters.
Easy to say 'try this', 'try that', would you come out with your own money to buy me a new set if those you recommend dont last 3 yrs? Meanwhile, enjoy your latest tech phone, haha.

I bought a Nokia N73 in 2008. In the first week had problems. The sim card was MOVING in my phone, and I had to use papers to FIX it. Many times when I wanted to call somebody, the phone lost it's signal. It's camera was awesome, I admit that. The sound quality was really cool because it was the Music Edition. :D

AnonD-16241, 05 Sep 2011( That is how technology works, everything gets outdated in... moreif its so mature why do i have to keep taking out my battery 5 times a day to reboot my nokia...why does it just die and restart on its own in the middle of a song? wich is realy messed up considering i have a music phone...my charger broke after 6 months...my cousin has the same phone, he has replaced his charger 3 times alredy. symbian is crap and nokia make crap but im sure it would not have been as bad if it had, had more ram. but its because symbian does not need alot of ram to run nokia thort they could get away with puting the leest amount of ram in thier phones that they could, to save on manufacturing cost...now i sit with a piece of crap that crashes so now i just avoid using my phone...and if you think i havent tried updates your wrong because its the latest update and iv hard reset my phone twice then its fine for 2 days and then back to crap...so from a nokia fan i say goodbye to nokia i will never waste my money on a nokia again
