Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite pricing revealed

Samsung semi-unveiled the phone a few days ago, but now the complete spec sheet is revealed, including pricing and shipping info.

Compared to Mi 8 SE for a same price this samsung is junk.
Compared to some other asus brands phones this is junk as well.
Moto X4 can be bought for same price and offers billion times better specs.
Aven A5 2017 cost same and is much faster.

    A very big downhill from SD 660 in A9 Star to SD 450 in A9 Star Lite. Very Lite indeed! Another thing, isn't the FPS a little on the higher side? Looks like it'd be hard to reach.

          Hman, 07 Jun 2018people here thata havent even seen the phone saying its a g... moreLol... My P20 lite is a joke I paid $320 for it.. I was expecting fast charging but it takes 3 more hours to charge fully... and also it scraches very easily with my hands...

            Samsung is totally underrated , higher priced, higher spare parts etc etc

              For this time around it's reasonably priced, although it's a little bit higher than Samsung's Chinese competitor. But let's admit it: Chinese phones always priced cheaper than Korean/Japanese/Taiwan phones. I think they priced it a tad lower to lure customers away from Chinese competitor. I love myself some competitions, especially if it's about pricing. ;)

                The specs are poor at best compared witha mate 10 lite or a p20 lite... and the price must be a joke

                      Surprisingly well priced... WOW. The A9 Star is priced the same as the Nokia 7 plus on release so I'm amazed they actually release it at 400€ with the superior display and cameras. I never thought I'd say this, but Samsung did good here ... ugh I feel dirty just saying it, but kudos to Samsung of pricing for ONCE. My only advice would be if you plan to get this just wait it out for 2-3 months it'll probably drop to ~340€ at which point

                          To be honest, this is the first time I am impressed by a Samsung Midranger (Talking only about A9 Star not lite version). For the price, it's good enough. Those thin bezels without notch, appear impressive! And it's almost a $100 cheaper than S8, so stop comparing it with that!

One plus 6 has more higher specs and a different price tag and are you mentioning honor 10 because of the price tag, i don't know, not to mention their ugly notches. In my opinion i think nokia 7 plus is the best phone to try to match or compare with this phone. Most other phones will either be higher or lower in so many aspects when comparing them.

                                        at that price point, the a6 plus (a9 lite) seems a little bit overpriced. Expect people will chose a8 or zenfone 5z instead of a9 lite
