Why can't the west release a QWERTY KaiOS with a reasonable camera (8MP?)
Maybe some shock/water/dust proofing, for outdoors types?
T9 is horrible, and a lot of folks want burner phones, or to declutter their digital lives from too much social media and apps. KiaOS has all the major apps. Literally all it needs is navigation, and it will do most of what a smartphone does.

QWERTY phone should use 3 inch screen. 2.4 inch looking map will tired someone eyes fast

A small correction :
By the way, if you have the original Jio, you can swap it for a JioPhone 2 for INR 500 ($7/€6).
This is not correct . if you have any feature phone you can it as an exchange for original jio phone for 500, Not the jio phone 2 .
