But I think having both, is stupid. A 3 mm chin is more than enough to handle the phone.

    See that bottom bezel down there?Just put the front facing lens right there stupids!!

                A smallish notch like sharp or essential phone doesn't bother me that much, and up to 6mm chin as well, as it can fit the missing sensors and move the navbar to a comfortable position.
                But "screen horns" are bothersome, where you're left with battery and clock on the right and one or two notifications on the left. That's not appealing nor productive.

                  Look at the Elephone S8 or the MI Mix family. No need for a notch and excellent screen to body ratio. You want a selfie? Do something and turn the phone around.
                  Or another case, look at the LG V30, slim bezels, slim chin and no need for a notch.

                    I just dont get it... Ok i understand that some hardware needs to be installed on the upper part of the phone... But why use a notch for this? A small bezel is acceptable...plus no notch allows better components to be fitted there... Speaker selfie cam etc... But why the chin? U want bigger screen real estate? Drop the chin... No more use for that... Capacitive buttons are almost history... So nothing is there... Just useless chin... I dont get this trend...

                            Honestly, the Notch is jsut a dumb trend, which I have completely written off.
                            I used to be quite excited by my Essential PH-1, because the small Notch would allow for huge screen real estate right? well no, all the Apps had a border bar on the top, and when trying to watch YouTube, I could only watch with borders. So whats the Point?
                            I am now using the Nokia 8 Sirocco, and honestly, 16:9 bezelless should be the ergonomics we should aim for.
                            Long tall Phones may be good for Social Media but for Media horrible.

                              That is honestly one of the ugliest notches I've ever seen. They should've done it Essential Style or Huawei style. What they've done right now is just highly unattractive...
