Nokia still manage to compete in the business comoare to the newly evolved android OSs.
They manage to reinvent their technology to copeup with the latest technology.
Considering the style and functionality of the phones they manufacture, androids will be all messed-up..

I think, colour choices offer by Nokia is really spot on. Really suit the youth or younger generation. Just hope the price will be lower than expected, but for the price given, still it is very reasonable because if the spec sheet in GSMArena really can be trusted, i think it is really a good buy for everyone. With the price, you will get phone with bright screen, able to play HD Games since it has graphic accelerator, able to take decent shot and HD video, Document editor (which is doubtful, but it is stated in the spec sheet), NFC, USB on the go, and many more...just WOW for the price offered. Thanks Nokia.

Nokia Sucks, 13 Oct 2011That was in the past but at present Samsung is whooping Nok... moreIn my opinion symbian is more mature than android, I ever use android 2.2 device with 278 mb memory in my village in indonesia where there is only 2G signal and facebook application force closed everytime i used it to browse long timeline, yahoo messenger seems signed in but sometimes cannot receive messages, and the clock widget is stopped everytime I force free memory. May be this is only happen with my device does anyone ever experiencing the same?

Nokia Sucks, 13 Oct 2011That was in the past but at present Samsung is whooping Nok... moreLMFAO.. Nokia are doing some very interesting things to re-invent the company, and it's not all hardware/software related. The biggest mistake its competitors can make is to ignore these changes, which although subtle, will have a huge impact on the smartphone industry.

This company is not another RIM, Dell, or Motorola, trust me (fanboys)

For all the people who have been abusing a brand who started off with making papers and then ruled the mobile fraternity for more than a decade should apply a li'll common sense before completely discarding a company with such a good and diverse run.
Android is a good OS. Serves good. Lots of Apps. User friendly interaction designing and a good hardware.

But all those features does not automatically demean Nokia.

                                    To start off with:

                                    1. You cant even imagine challenging Nokia in the hardware section. It was, It is and always will be the king in that aspect. For all those who dont agree with this, please strain your memory a bit and remember N-gage, 1100, 7250, 8800, N73, 9930i, N95, N97 and my recent buy, the N900. Believe you me, I have put them all under a lot of pressure, including my N900 which does not sport an anti scratch screen but still manage to take a lot of beating and perform flawlessly.

                                    2. Symbian has always been a delight and adventure considering the UI, the apps, the extras like themes and other customization. Maemo has been a brilliant experience. Fully customisable Homescreens, Beautiful transitions, a very powerful processor and by which I mean 600mhz as I believe in the fact that its not the size of the processor but the quantity and quality it can run in its given size and space. And N900 manages to do so so so much. Ease in terms of use. Intelligent integration of a phone in a a device which actualyy is a tablet. Brilliant way of capitalising on a resistive touchscreen (see how the zoom-in and zoom-out works on a N900 browser and u'd realise what I mean.)Every feature and app right within your reach, thanks to the slider bars which by the way is a Maemo exclusives and, for god sake, not an Android feature. And now a dedicated community which makes softwares only for n900 and by that i mean superb developments like "USB-On-The-Go" as well. Its only beacause the OS is open and flexible enough for the developers to be able to develop on it.

                                    3. Devices has always displayed Nokia's flair with experimentation as am sure no other brand ever produced a phone with D-Shape which ultimately created a stir, as surprisingly it made sense to use a phone in the way it demanded. Also how can I forget the COMMUNICATOR SERIES. There still aint a single phone in the market which can beat the keyvoard shortcuts of nokia 9300. Dont believe me. Use it. N900 - a slider with a touchscreen, N95 - Dual Sliding, they even had a phone for the athletes which used to open up in the center and had an orange backlight, the lipstick phone for the ladies showing only basic information but giving ample amount of storage. And many such designs which made it big but unfortunately I havent seen such big achievements in design with an LG or a Motorola or a Samsung. However they do have a good designs as well.

                                    4. Reliability is still strong as I have used the latest offerings from symbian namely N8 and E7 and please they are not at all bad and have their own different interaction design and support for their customers, which for the price that they come at is amazing. N8 and E7 also support UTG(USB-on-the-Go).

                                    5. Meego has been an amazing change in the UI pattern which sports class and adventure both. Again the hardware is superb, looks beautiful and adds to the appeal of one's personality and is a Maemo successor. So no explanation required for the OS. Windows has evolved greatly. The UI with their live tiles makes a lot of sense in terms of space utilisation and beautiful innovation and hopefully will grow when merged with the hardware such as the likes of Nokia. However the future is always unpredictable but it does not seem dark at all for Nokia who was brave enough to support a dying OS like Windows when they themself were facing hard times. Why? Coz they understood the potential in a Windows OS and would never bargain into they heavy Google Clauses. I mean c'mon, nobody remembers Samsung GS2 for its design or hardware support. They all know it for Android. And Nokia does not want its name drowning in front of its OS.

All said, I still feel Android is good, however Apple is better even though it doesnt offer a lot on support. Stupids. But have an aspect which Android lacks and that is called the FEEL of a device when you hold it. But you cant simply say Apple or an Android has this so Nokia is bad. Even they have it and they have it in their own way. Some may not like it but others do and that others when combined together put up good numbers as well.

So please all the readers, stop it. Be happy in your preferred OS and stop predicting Nokia's end. It has survived the breakthrough of Apple so it can certainly survive anything. Belle is not Android-ish, if you look at the interaction designs of all the OS's in the market... they all look the same. Except obviously Meego and Windows 7.5 Mango. So use your brains and evaluate.

                                    Anand"andy"Agarwal

[deleted post]That was in the past but at present Samsung is whooping Nokia's ass. You know that and everyone knows that. Just wait until Nokia releases their disappointing third quarter earnings and it will be worst than before. Compare that to Samsung's which is getting better and better after each quarter and you'll know that Nokia has gone irrelevant.

Nokia fans loves to dwell in Nokia's past glories. But today, Nokia is glorious no more and Nokia now means outdated devices. Samsung took all of Nokia's glories away and Samsung is now number 1. It's sad but it's true. When people people think about Nokia, they think about outdated and overpriced devices but when people think about Samsung smartphones, they think of top of the line Android phones.

People simply don't want Nokia anymore. Their smartphone sales are down and so are their dumbphone sales. Fierce competition did Nokia and their fans are still in shock and in denial.
