The only "flaw" is the 5mp camera. It's not like it's a big deal, since I am sure it is a very good 5mp camera with great sensors/software and thus image quality. ICS also includes a great panorama function so you can actually take a bigger picture with it.

Nobody, if ever, prints out their phone camera photos, so high mp can be rather wasteful.

I am mildly disappointed with the 5mp only because I believe they can actually do a 8mp shooter that maintains high quality, but I can totally live with 5. The OMAP processors are great, the build quality looks premium, the design looks neat and that screen is currently unrivaled. It also has many neat features such as NFC, has early dips to ICS upgrades, and having general longer life span being a Nexus phone.

Only valid concern should be battery life, IMO.

5mp is a big disappointment. Strange to see massive screen resolution and weak camera to come with it. LTE, NFC, ICS are all good. Will wait for SGS2 LTE HD for 8mp camera.

[deleted post]LOL with 5MP camera? I don't think so. RIP Galaxy Nexus, from the SGS2 owners who will not buy this. And RIP Samsung, from Motorola, the new Android Kings, partner of Google your OS overlord.

it's all politics why this phone didn't get the 8MP in the back 2and the 2mp up front.Samsung would be invading it's galaxy s ll.super phone though.

I think the only flaw is 5 MP
If they put Tegra processor it would be better

Wow talk about disappointing. Motorola Razr runs circles around this, and announcing just before the Nexus made it worse for Samsung.

                    And 5MP? Really???

Prem, 19 Oct 2011Google isn't really releasing the Nexus phones for mass mar... moreI agree with Prem - it's all about the OS to a certain extent, and the handset's other specs are more than meaty enough. I was a little disappointed to see the camera spec at only 5MP though :-(
Ice Cream sandwich certainly looks the part and I can't wait to have a go with it.

This thing isn't what the hype makes it to be. It's underwhelming and even the Galaxy S II is better. It's also embarassing that the Face Unlock feature didn't work when they're demoing it. Looks like Google rushed it and tried to put as many half-baked features as fast as they can.

If I were to go Android then it's the Galaxy S II for me and not this overhyped Nexus.

I'm amazed by this phone. Beautiful large hd screen, very fast camera (5mp is more then enough for me as I haven't yet printed out any of my photos (no I'm not a photograph) into a massive poster, just usually watch my photos/video on my phone or computer ), fast cpu, 1gig ram and most of all android ice cream sandwich which looks amazing. And the phone it self looks very good. haven't been excited about a phone for a while. Finally know what I want for Christmas))

Google isn't really releasing the Nexus phones for mass market consumption, they are just a delivery vehicle for their new OS versions. Mainly targeted for developers. To that end, the specs are more than enough.
