Latest Moto for example.
I am looking from both ways my own and customer experience.
Not every customer cares for its phone.
Man had a customer which bringed Note 9 2 days after buy for a screen repair because he was clumsy and careless. Buying so expensive phone without and screen protector and cover like book for example is a big issue. People are really crazy mad insane nowdays.

Don't view from your "retailer" perspective, view it with "fellow consumer" perspective and your eyes will open up about how people who buy cheap phone live with the issue, not whining with them
And also you will know how people that valued premium phone are keen to buy them eventhough they are tech savvy, it's more than spec
It's what you pay what you get
Even iphone(i dare to say this even iphone is bit overpriced at launch in my opinion)

2. Sony have been manufacturing phones from the time that the Huwaei / Xiaomi bosses were probably still in Highschool, and no-one ever had any proof or even hint on them cheating. That's one of the differences of a quality product by the way.
3. Do you really have evidence of others cheating on benchmarks? Really? In that case please file a legal complaint or expose them.
4. Huwaei should be fined heavily, like what happened to the VW diesel cheaters. But it seems is common within chinese manufacturers, isn't it? (LieNovo et al)
5. This "everyone cheats" is a childish argument. Try telling that to the wife when she catches the husband cheating, lol.

You are so SELECTIVELY quoting the weight of the larger and heavier (actually perhaps the heaviest) XZ2 Premium, whilst we are talking about the XZ3. At least play fair and be honest. Huawei phones are excellent and they ae top 2 for some reason they even jumped over the apple.
Every company cheating on benchmarks but not everybody will tell.
Sony is the same.
They dont even have to cheat.
For the price of Sony i can have 2 or 3 phones with same specs and a lot better smaller lighter.
Sony sell bricks with nothing special.
No wonder 99,99% of my customers have other phones not Sony.

Even a cheap phone has the same build quality as expensive oe.

Really, if you are hunting just specs sheets, you can, but you are wrong. The same argument as Huawei with their Benchmark-cheating. They make phones with 6-8 RAM and the phones don't even perform properly.

They just talk from papers and their mind showing bad proof.
Sony show them all that quality matters much more than quantity.

Maybe 2-5 people per year buy Sony.
Price is all that matters.
Here in Slovakia if someone get 450-600 eur sallary do you think they spend 1000 onn Sony???
Dont get me wrong but i rather will be well fed having fresh clothes and will looks like a human than being a beggar with nothing to eat but carrying Note 9 or XZ premium.
Many other coutries are same.
1-2% people have enough money to buy XZ premium or Note 9 P20 Pro etc but 98% customers rougly 98 000 per year will buy midranger or budget phone. With price up to 200 euros.

2. You seem to ignore the fact though that the amount of RAM depends also on the software optimisation. The examples you mention are really questionable (and heck, who wants to use the Poco, with the known licencing problems which you so selectively forget. I'd rather have 4GB Ram and be able to watch what I want, whenever I want, and how I want for example)
3. You really bring as an example the 50+ old housewifes coming to your shop with 10-50 tabs open? Do they really care about RAM usage? Apart from FB et al? Power users, productivity users, gamers, all know what to do and how to optimise their phones, and its to them that the RAM really matters.
4. You are stil creeping in every single Sony forum doing the same thing, eh? You know what? Why don't you get some Sony phones up for sale in your shop? This way you'll get a feel of the real quality instead of the stuff you are selling right now. But do not display them next to the Oppo et al stuff, because customers who know and appreciate quality won't even look the other way. Now, that would be more productive.

When i press left bottom button 10 to 50 tabs will pop up and the phone memory is completely used.
Some especialy people with age of 50+ cant even use touchphone properly.

4GB ram is midranger nowdays.
Even my Moto X4 have 6GB ram variant which is midranger for 300.
Pocophone have 8GB ram and cost only 300.
And sony implemented what???
Apart from 4k resolution since Z5 premium they invented nothing all is work of Samsung and apple.
