25 September 2018
Changes from to the Redmi Note 5 Pro include a notched screen and a dual selfie camera. But with less RAM/storage, we expected a lower price.

In mine country (czech republic) you can buy this phone much cheaper, it is about €220/€250 for 3/4 GB version. But this phone as new one is on sale currently, normal prices are listed as €250/€270.

In India, where I live, and where they officially sell, there is no issue at all.
It's not as if they are officially launching a device in, say, US, but without proper LTE support.

The Redmi note 6 pro is already available to buy from multiple local stores in Bangladesh. Global, 2 variants, all colors.

The sibling rivalry with Poco will be interesting.

AnonD-694886, 25 Sep 2018That's their target audience. That's their only market due to crappy LTE support. Added bands = more markets. Something OnePlus understands but Xaiomi doesn't

                  Oops.
                  Hello Poco.

gap on xiaomi. If xiaomi continue to disappoint they will be gone. (xiaomi already putting ads into they phones) but that's another issue. Just saying

Thank you Moto for the One power with the brilliant USB C & a dedicated sd slot (not to forget a 5k amps battery).

Redmi -hope you catch up soon with current times & stay revelant.

Very disappointed, they literally taking a step backward, first a huge number of SD 625 device, then this.

Redmi Note 6 Pro is the failed product of this year from Xiaomi... It wasn't an anticipated Phone... Also didn't got a launch event... Mostly unveiled through the leaks...
