Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 Plus will get Pie this month, Nokia 8 and 8 Sirocco are next

HMD has committed to updating all of its Nokia phones to Android 9.0 Pie.

        Whats overpriced on Nokia???
        They dont sell as low as xiaomi but they definitely not sell as high as brands above.
        Even Nokia Sirrocco brand new had 800 eur price for an excellent quality phone.
        Compared to other companies which sells their flagships for 1000 euros or more and are far less premium than a Nokia Sirroco.

          Its true google makes updates because google is android.
          But every update implemented into any or each device depends on a company which creates theses phones. I mean brands.
          In case of Samsung for example All S and A series gets 2 android updates and security updates every 2-3 months in case of J series you get 1 major update and several Minor security updates but thats it.
          Compared to Nokia which updates frequently and everything.
          Or Xiaomi which adds 2 updates tons of security updates and a permanent MUI upddate.

            Why all phones are 5.8" in size but names are Nokia 5.1, 6.1. 7.1 etc. Couldnt they name according to size atleast?

                                    Btw if we talk about updates, then i have never get so much updates then i have got from Xiaomi RN5AI. Every month security updates. Never had that much on any of my Nokia phones. Never had it even with samsung phones that had android on them.

                                    But for me and my use i dont buy my self a phone for a reason it get more updates or i cant live without updates cause if phone dont get updates it will be garbage that cant do anything even make calls cause it has no updates

Nokia with this price tactic wont get near to these Samsung and alike companies. If it wants to get top, it needs to be like Xiaomi that sell phones bang for a buck. If HMD would of just make a new brand then i doubt it would be so successful.

                                      While Samsung and LG and others started to make phones they made a lot of them feature phones or how you say to these button phones. Then Apple joined and made a trend out of touchscreen that was in use 5 years before them in different brands including Nokia before the trend started. Now we have 100 different brands out there and especially in that market where Nokia wants to start up it's new HMD company. In a market that is full of bang for buck brands that wont even enter to global market.

                                        If you like a Xiaomi or Honor then buy them. No one is telling you not to do that.
                                        If you like phones with Chinese User Interface then go buy it. But there are a lot of users that like stock android.
                                        The specification that Nokia(HMD) is providing with premium design and better build quality is enough for most of the people.
