Your trying to prove that android market is devoloping because of low end crap phones. May i ask you something. The worlds 2nd best smart phone is samsung galaxy s2. Is that a cheap crapy phone for you??? LG Optimus 2x ...., sony ericsson xperia arc s and whole new xperia line. Motorola droid razer...., almost every htc, and all the tabs at market without ipad. Are all these high end devices seems cheap and crappy for you? Or all these manufactures are idiots to select android as their high end sets os? No, there are so many handsets out there more than so called apple and blackberrys and you have to figure out that

i hear android 4.0 a.k.a ics will support x86 platform if that's true will waiting so i can make dual boot windows pc with android on my netbook :)

suky, 15 Nov 2011Im so hopeing its avalible for the galaxy s . it should be ... moreThere is already a port in the works for the Galaxy S, go checkout the XDA forums. I have used ICS on my Nexus S and its incredible. I can't wait for the full release (which our phones will get first). :-)

And secondly, those ROMS are there for people who desire freedom and customisability instead of consenting to various corporate dictators that tell you what to do and how to do it.

There's a lot of manufacturers adopt the OS because it's free and open source. But looking at the higher end models, Android will lag miles behind Blackberry and IOS.

The word finally is really unnecessary. We were waiting for it to be released November 17 or later. It's released 3 days earlier and "Finally"? Gsmarena is so pro apple lately. Knock it off!

RP, 15 Nov 2011U r right man i m totally agree with u, android is the best....of course. Some people say that android is not secure. I dont know that for sure. But if its that bad, why all the major manufactures stick to droid so far. I think those who need that much of security in their mobiles should go for so official blackberrys. Androids showing its growth amaizingly. No one can say it isnt. And for sure it will become the no 1, as modern customers looking more than call n sms from their mobiles :)

You almost can do whatever you want, if you smart inough. Competion is between the apps right. But android will overcome istore for sure. Sony Ericsson(amaizing xperia line), samsung(galaxy's), LG(optimus), Motorola, Htc, Huwavei... All the major manufactures are going towards to droids. And all their highend devices have androids. So who are the smart here. We are not fanboys but love to have a powerfull os with Freedom!
