Android has added so many features over the years, changed it design a few times and more. Only the sweet names remain consistent.

There are even people that complain about it on this site! But I know you won't read all comments because you don't like being proven wrong (and also you only read the beginning and the end isn't that right?). It's ok. Not everyone is mature enough to admit his errors.

So unless you are ready to admit you are wrong, don't comment again. I'll just ignore you because what's the point of arguing with an immature troll? None, that is.

I know for sure the 3 issues I have mentioned are widely known and is at least frequently discussed on XDA, a place filled with Android experts (so it's normal you didn't know about it).         if you dont like switch to that laggy buggy IOS which restrict yiu from everything.
        You cant even transfer data from phone to PC without using third party program.

          Compared to Android IOS is a pile of crap.
          After every single update they have plenty of major problems like charging problems last time or slowing down older devices via updates.
          I dont or cant even remember when GSM Arena posted something about android bugs after an update.

              Happy B day Android a lot better user friendly and stable OS compared to a lot worse laggy buggy and user not friendly competition which even slows down older devices via updates.

                    Android wastes a lot of resources to execute itself Like Windows post-XP requires a much more powerful setup for the same apps.
                    And fragmentation is an issue for users too. It shows how perfectly good phones are still being used and the OEM dropped support on them.

                          By the time Microsoft got its act together only v Nokia and Microsoft lumia devices were using Windows 8
                          Nokia had chosen Windows primarily for its security over Android.

                          Too little too late Windows 8 releases added features each of which like another post made it feel like a new phone, however third party apps follows phones and those were Apple and Google
                          Despite this Windows phone made a mini comeback

                          Windows 10 should have been the next best thing, the feature packed lumia, 950 was going to run this out of the box, with all current Windows 8 phone set to receive the initial Windows 10 upgrade
                          Despite testing and Windows 10 multiple failure on current devices as well as the lumia 950 Microsoft went ahead

                          Windows 10 is a flawed OS, which could not be fixed despite 2 years if trying,

                          Windows 8 albeit still viable, and 100 still working despite no third party app update or development should have been the lifeboat that kept Microsoft afloat, but everything was Windows 10

                          If Windows 10 could have been fixed it would have been done, so flawed us Windows 10 there is no new release that has been able to clear the many diverse problems

                          Windows 10 ended Microsoft ambition in phones, the hope you see people clinging to is for a Microsoft surface phone, to disappoint those it can't have any part of Windows 10 in its root program, so will be a development of the discontinued but viable Windows 8, which has virtually no Windows 8 apps that have been updated in a years

                          Blackberry 10 is a viable OS however Blackberry jumped ship to Android
                          Blackberry problem was it was too late 2013 5 tears ago to bring out a phone with a selfie camera
                          Despite Blackberry 10 security (development in driverless cars) BB10 app store closes 31/12/2019

                          The self inflicted wounds especially Microsoft to a lesser degree Blackberry has meant Google Android is only competing with Apple (pixel phone anyone)

                          There were feature on BlackBerry and Windows 8, new at the time, but if all ios offers us benchmark improvement, Faceid well

                          Those of you who insist Android is better than ios BB10 is / was the closest to the Android experience with no need for monthly security updates

                            Ah. What a nice trip down memory lane. I miss the dark UI of the Holo design.

                            I also miss the good old days, when Google wasn't trying to be an Apple-wannabe, like it is now...

                              If you look at the history, you can see ever since Google (under AMERICAN CEO at that time) acquired Android back in 2005, it starts offering choices and features people want up to Android Oreo. From Android Pie (don't know what will happen with later Android OS releases), Google's current Indian CEO from 2015 (waiting for his right moment) "revealed" its true colors and FORCED f*****g GESTURES on everyone which MAJORITY don't see a NEED to copy iOS. It also removed quick settings from it's notification toggles, so tell me right now whether Android DESERVES to celebrate it's 10th birthday? Of course, if people start complaining on social media on Pie taking away "CHOICES", Google will tell them to be "grateful" for what Android has become.

                                  Ah~ It was such a nice memory lane! simple, Informative, and fun to read!

                                    Limitations brought by google :

                                    Android 4.3 : Blocked all 3rd party profile changing apps from enabling and disabling the flight mode. Also prevented all 3rd party apps from copying, moving, deleting, renaming files on / to the memory card

                                    Android 4.4.2 : Even more restrictions

                                    Android 5.0 : Enabled the permissions for all 3rd party file explorer apps to write to the memory card

                                    Android 6.0 : No much change. High battery drain.

                                    Android 7.0 : Enabled the APP INFO option by just tapping on any app icon anywhere even on the home screen. Improved UI. But google has restricted all the 3rd party apps from terminating the processes.

                                    Android 8.0 and later : Google has removed the APP INFO option (which was found in the android 7.x), blocked all the 3rd party apps from killing / terminating all the background running tasks.

                                    What the hell is this?.

                                      Yeah, look back at the history. See how great they (Google and android) used to be. Now, they are becoming more & more greedy, so much more greedy that now I feel Apple products are much better value for the money.

                                        How can Google DESERVE to celebrate Android's 10th birthday when it moved to f****ng GESTURES on Pie-iOS wannabe?? It is just as good as taking "choices" away from you and yet say happy birthday to a person and tell him / her to be glad for the "basic" stuff what he / she has right now.
