The yet unofficial WP smartphone will, reportedly, feature at least a 4" display. Could be a generic device too.

[deleted post]That's a curse! SE fails in the smartphone era and xperia x10 was the example of that failure and again xperia x10 was look like Omnia HD which released ahead of xperia x10. There aren't many ways to design the bar touch-screen smartphone you know.

Do you know there's a possibility to switch a core off? So that dual-core phone would drain less power than a single-core?

And one more thing - the display: today's devices have 4+ inch displays to browse the web and do other things comfortably and what NOKIA has for us is sub-4" display. The next thing - PenTile matrix: an old trick to make the user think he's having a high-res display. Having an experience with AMOLED screens I'll never go back to LCD but I really hate PenTile.

I don't need multicore Windows Phone device just "because", but I do need a phone which can compete with other modern devices, period! Look at Lumia 800: no FF camera, no 1080p video recording, not so good camera... And the price? Same as iPhone 4S, higher than SGS II and generally higher than most other phones. This is supposed to be a life belt for Nokia? Never! Having SGS II I'd really much want to switch to NOKIA platform but what am I supposend to buy - a worse device like Lumia 800? I can record 1080p now so why would I go for 720p only? I have 2MPix FFC in my phone - why would I choose one without any?

NOKIA: aren't you able to provide us with a really high-end device? I'm really afraid that Windows Phone OS is a bottleneck for NOKIA's innovations and that's the main reason why Lumia 800 lacks FFC, 1080p and so on. I wish they sticked to MeeGo. Microsoft is very slow in adding features to WP7 that have been present on the other platform for many months.

in fact, i have never seen the single core flagship that lasts 3 days with a single charge in now days, because there is no any revolutionary chemical tech that dramatically improves the battery life even though many comapanies and universities invest a lot of money.

There are some, but most of them are either experimental or not suitable for commercial perpose.

I'd rather have a single core phone that lasts a couple of days instead of a quad-core, 5" monster that needs charging 3 times a day!

Quad-core, battery-sucking phones are for ppl who have no life and can afford to spend all day charging their phones.

i am currently using a Nokia 700 and absolutely love it....so if Nokia released a handset similar to the 700, and about the same size, but with WP7, i'd would definitely consider buying it!!!!!
