The Huawei P Smart is powered by a Kirin 710 chipset, has a smaller teardrop notch

12 December 2018
That's the same chipset as the P Smart+, which had a wider notch. Also, this phone launches with Android 9 Pie.

Huawei Honor 10 Lite is the better deal here. In the end they are the same but Honor 10 Lite has the better camera. Huawei P Smart (2019) just got the old camera from the 2018's P Smart.

The Xperia L1 is guaranteed with good software support, something not many could promise on a similar level of price segment.
And then goes the specs comparison.
For just a few bucks more, the XA2 Plus is a viable option that's packed for entertainment and is easily the most well-rounded device, with very little to no compromises at all.
It's definitely more expensive, but you have to understand that you're truly getting more by paying more with Sony.
Not to mention, you are free of unwanted spyware inside the phone too.

Type C port is more durable also. If every brand had moved to type c in 2017, we would have a type c 3.0 in mid-range segment too. But we are stuck with microusb which is total crap.

If microusb on some Huawei/Honor entry/mid range phones can still charge the phone below 2 hours time from 0% to 100%, it is acceptable, cutting cost of the phone and get better specs overall for the price.

If u can get a mid range phone at entry level pricing, its a no brainer. Take comparison between Xperia L1 & Honor 9 Lite. Both are 190 EUR, but the overall specs leans to Honor 9 Lite, no matter what.

USB type C alone cant save Xperia L1.

Next time, try to compare them by specs instead of the price segment.
I only used the L1 as a reference to explain how outrageous it is not to offer USB C for budget phones in late 2018.

Why? Because the overall specs that they have a lot better than Sony can offer for the price.

How long are we going to wait before USB C finally starts becoming a standard port for ALL Android devices?

                              Come on, Huawei!
