    i own both xiaomi and oneplus phones and while i loved MIUI since it was v6 to-date, I have grown more fond of Oxygen OS. It is less bloated, fast and the most important part is, it doesn't come with advertisements built-in, as found on MIUI since v9. I dont see why anyone would want their devices to come with advertisements built into the stock OS.

        Lol i have the same impression like you guys.
        The author is so funny that he disregard the fact MIUI is much inferior to OxigenOS.

        It's like asking OP user to downgrade themselves.

          why is somebody doing it ... you have still possibility to install launcher if you are not satisfied with your build ...

                In Stock Android (like Oxygen OS) there no settings option to stop google collecting my personal data, location and other app data. But Coustom ROMs like MIUI gives much more control on our smartphone and helps to stops google dirty tricks. And most of upcoming features in Android 10 /11 will be copied from these Custom ROMs like MIUI, EMUI Samsung OneUI...

                            Who would want to use an ad ware ridden OS like MIUI over something like OxygenOS. Also my OnePlus is unlocked with Magisk running and Google Play working just fine. Just because you can, maybe you should stop to think if you should.

                              Why someone would go through the hassle of porting MIUI to OnePlus 6/6T, even as proof of concept, when OxygenOS is superior is beyond me

                                Most people want to escape from MIUI to stock or Lineage. But the reliable and fluid Oxygen OS to MIUI? dont waste your time.
