Anonymous, 28 Dec 2018Fake 960fps HD like Huawei... 30fps recording and 960fps... moreUh... it's the other way around bruh, I've compared it to my dad's note 9 and it's about the same in terms of how slow the recording is. But it's not all that perfect. First, u need a lot more light than the note. I've even tried to record the rotation of a fan blade while using the flash and place my phone as close as possible but the end result was like a 10 fps video(I'm not joking). U basically need daylight to use it. Secondly, when i checked the video info using mx player, it says that the video is 1080p but it looks more like 720 to me. Overall im pretty impressed with it considering that it is just done by software. U can find samples of it on YouTube, just check it.

For example: pixel 3, iphone xr and s9 use 12MP + 1.4 micron but each of them has a different sensor.
The real 960fps from Sony and Samsung needs a memory ram inside the sensor.
No other brand has this kind of sensor.
So the 960fps on chinese phones are just playback using interpolation while being recorded.

I dont understand this lens, sensor, software, hardware thing with there megapixel.
As not the slowest (Cant use D word that is opposite of smart.) in the hardware department. I understand some of it.
But as i dont understand much about cameras and i dont use them too. I have redmi note 5 AI with 12+5 camera that seems like same numbers with mi 8 and pocophone.
Is redmi note 5 ai really that slow with it's SD 636 ? That it cant manage that 960fps slow mo with 720p ?
Would be nice to have and even try it. To get the best pictures that have funny moments.

Still no trace of Mi Flagship in India. Samsung is better atleast they provide every device of their portfolio so user can chose device of their choice.

And it's about goddamn time we, mi 8 users got and update... I'm commenting this right after the update, i went to gsmarena just to check the news about android pie on Xiaomi mi 8. I can tell you that now this phone is a hell of alot faster than before with the gesture animations fix and feel silky smooth...it also bumps up my antutu score (does it matter?) to 299431...i haven't tested the camera thought...
