Gave up on facebook a few years ago and it was one of the best decisions of my life. Looks like I'll be giving up on whatsapp as well. Was more than happy to pay the $1 per year which I have done for a few years before facebook took over. Heck, I would gladly pay $5-10 per year for this service to remain independent. Greed is a bastard, isn't it Zuckerberg?

They should be working on integrating privacy to their apps. But that's like integrating honesty to a politician.
OR
They should be integrating Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram to a dump. The apps are trash so that's the perfect match.
