Com'on people, this has been out for 5 days (i bought mine Friday and am happy.) need to say i do not have 4G but this is so superior to old.Droid 1. LOOK, Moto barely upgrades anything, instead they want to sell you a new phone at 5-600.
So.back off and give me break.

Phones like the sgs2 are consumer devices where the oems can have design tradeoffs to suit their needs.
Oh, and samsung will never surrender their flagship device to google. ;-)

This phone have too many bugs and kwalite is 0.
Kamera is behind S2.Screen contrast is low.Standby time is too low.Speaker voice is too low than Htc Desire HD.
I think ics version not ready yet.

I also must admit that I'm very disappointed with Galaxy Nexus. It looks like every phone released by Google must have some glitches to discourage people from buying it and that they do it on purpose What this time? The camera of course which is far behind what SGS II offers and what most of the modern phones offer. Many people thought: okay, 5MP only, but the sensor itself will be of superior quality, especially in poor lightning. And what's the reality? A joke, just look at the reviews with full size photos. Why, Google, why? Do you always have to screw up some obvious things?

I has not done the next one yet so I guess it must be on a slower track. This is a Vodafone supplied phone. I have not had a look to see what the track is (re: your link) but may do so if I don't see anything in a day or two.

There are infact to batch codes for the galaxy nexus - one controlled by google the other controlled by samsung.
You may have a samsung one, hence the lack of update.

I have just forced a reboot of my UK version of this and it is still on v4.0.1 so we don't have it yet. I had noticed that the volume on the navigation software was a little quiet and, spotted that it did not automatically reconnect to a WiFi spot you had used if you used another one in between. Still, great phone and the integration of the operating system with online resources in excellent (I guess this is "the Google experience").

so i've had this phone for a month now, patiently waiting for an update and Google are giving the update to brand new owners and making people that have already owned the handset for sometime wait for God knows how long for it. I have to admit I'm very angry about that one.

I'm hoping they'll get the DivX update on-line pretty soon, I'm actually hoping to get this phone in april 2012 and I need it to be an all-in-one replacement for all my gadgets (phone obviously, GPS, mp3 and video player vith .mkv).
Otherwise it's the Galaxy S II or Note with high hopes for ICS update..

Divx support has been removed? so this is kinda of DOWNGRADE.
