I tried it and it just didn't work for me. I found the handset volume way too low, especially without noise cancellation. Texting with the forced conversation view was awful. no text forwarding, wasteful inefficient text display, & a fixed fontsize in no-mans land between reading glasses and not. It's perfomance on the tasks I carry a phone for was a complete failure. Apple makes products for a market niche not the entire market. It did many things very well BUT they were nice to have NOT required features
I sold my iPhone 3GS and bought an ipod touch.
at this point the iPhone display is too small...
I believe the main reason Iphone has less/shrinking market share in Europe is there is truth in advertising laws allowing consumers to be better informed than US consumers that are subjected to so much misinformation.

Same if you friend say i just saw new mission impossible and it was great, now you think yes it might check it out too. More people say that same for your and more you started thinking it it might be very good.
IF iphone sucks you don't recommend it for your friends it just that simple.

And besides, most people who buy iPhones, do it for status, not performance...
How do I know that? I don't care for numbers, I care for the opinions I listen from clients from the mobile store I work in... Most of them buy the iPhone just because a friend has it, it looks goods, or both of them...

Apple is a good phone with thousands of applications supports....but price wise they are charging much more,,mostly for the brand...products like samsung galaxy s2 HTC sensation etc are of greater features wih better price.But apple is always best

Also bad phone doesnt get great reviews one after another.
Of course brand helps, but you first need to earn that brand with good products.
Why some people is so hard to understand that Apple products are great?

Well I guess Europeans are used to Android rather than iOS and to the honest Android OS is more customer friendly than the iOS. That's why europeans prefer the Galaxy SII,Galaxy Note,LG Optimus or HTC sensation

Sony MAKES Iphone's Camera...
There are the fakest overrated brand in the world. They can't do ANYTHING FOR THEMSELVES.
Yet they act like the best & place high prices on their products. Products that arent universal and services that are limited to certain parts of europe and the USA.
How does that make them the best? Apple might be the first to make touchscreen phones. But smartphones were first made by Nokia.

Further to my comment of 2011-12-23 02:39, in my travels one can buy an Android based mobile from as little as $60-70. So is this broad market coverage dammaging high end Android devices. Actually yes. Why pay a massive premium for top end Android mobile only for it to be out of date in in few weeks and challenged by low end devices. The value is simply not there.

...and you make laugh with your last statement. There is "N0" best phone at all. Each smartphone is unique and has its pros and cons. Android fans and iphone maniacs should thank nokia for its n95 for paving the way for today's smartphones.
