Thank you Samsung for ur decision on Galaxy S... I made my decision too... I will never buy a Samsung Smartphone ever... one of the best decisions made in my life...

This is seriously pathetic samsung. There are approx 20 million sgs users out there feeling betrayed. When the Nexus S ( essentially the same hardware as the sgs) can support android ics..why cant the galaxy s? If this is the idea of customer support from samsung..i can accept i made a mistake going in for the galaxy. I'll probably shift over to windows 7.5 mango. very very disappointing from samsung.

i thinke those are whose who thinks that sony use samsung dsisplay or ram are live in dream land.sony always sets standerd and otheres follows.i bet that reality display is way better then super amoled.chek both of them side by side.in software samsung is nothing compare with sony

I AM RUNNING ICS 4,0 in my SGS providing by UMIM and it is working smoothly in SGS. IIt will be better if Samsung prepare ICS package to SGS.

Regarding W8, it has 162 MB of RAM....even the HTC G1 has more RAM. There is no way on god's earth it's getting ICS.
And you missed my whole point:
Samsung = Updating THREE out of THIRTEEN devices released in 2011.
Sony Ericsson = Updating TWELVE out of THIRTEEN devices released in 2011
Samsung = Updating ZERO devices released in 2010
Sony Ericsson = Updating ZERO devices released in 2010
You do the math, if you're educated enough you'll find that Sony Ericsson is winning so far.
Now stop being a whining ***** about the X10, it cannot be updated because it won't run it properly...X10 users are satisfied because they themselves know their device cannot run ICS :)Unlike SGS users who know their devices are capable of running ICS but Samsung do not care about their customers :)
