I thought the Lumia 800 looked nice on video but when you actually have it in hand, the edges feel rather sharp. Not really a fan of the design anymore...

but on the other perspective, these devices have huuuge amount of power under the bonnet, like dual core A9, 1 gig of ram and high powered GPU....
but my old N8 which is powered by a dismal 680Mhz processor and 256MB of RAM does not lag also(I am running Leaked BELLE)....but it is Symbian, which is resource handling master......
I was a Nokia-Symbian fan but not the Nokia-WP, but I hope they can sell well, atleast when Apple is selling the Iphone with lower specs and people are buying it at absurd prices....

Stop it! Stop making it bigger! We dont need 4.3 inches big screen! I had SGS2 for one month in my hands with the same big screen and its almost immpossible to write text message in one hand!!!

Anonymous, 04 Jan 2012I've used a Lumia 800 phone and the experience is much much... moreSo you are saying that even though you own only mid-level android phones you some how can tell that high end android devices which you don't own lags? Furthermore you mention on an update that aside from the Galaxy Nexus, no other phone, not even Cyanogen has released for. So how can you comment on ICS when you don't own a high end phone so owning the Galaxy Nexus is out of the question and its impossible for you to use a custom rom as no group has released it yet, and the only ones out are so far alphas. The extremes that WP7 and Nokia fanboys go to praise their crappy devices and OS that saw a decline in market share.

Like I said credit due for an excellent device from Nokia, plus the WP 7 is like I have said superb. I bought mine in Singapore, cheaper than the iPhone. The Camera and Pictures on the screen is just superb, but I guess Nokia will now make efforts to go for the Hi-line models, mid and low line , giving everyone a chance to enjoy WP7. I remember laughing at S. Ballmer of MS in an interview, he said WP7 will change the way we look at smartphones, now the future for the WP7 is scary , what else they can do. Good luck Pal and lets see others use it and enjoy.

This could have the HTC Titan's problem - WP7 doesn't support high-res screens, so with a screen this size the ppi might end up low...

Ideally Nokia Lumia 900 is expected to have front-facing camera, bigger screen, atleast a gig af RAM, more applications. We know that Windows mobile 7.5 is very good, but apart from this, we require those specifications as well to compete in the smartphone market.

I think nokia should innovate more.
at least they should make their high end device record at 1080p.

If you haven't noticed, Verizon is also set to receive the Lumia 900, with or without LTE we don't know at this point. Verizon has some pretty good handsets, namely the Droid Razr, HTC Rezound, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and more.
