lolN8? Wasnt that the total fail of nokia at flagships?
Just fyi the sensor size doesnt matter at all nowdays, but that matter isnt for junkie heads. If you are living in the previeus century its your own problem.
You better say "thanks Sony" instead of flaming 'cos you would never seen the things what they are now if it wasnt Sony there.

Nokia n8 dont need more ram and processor like ur fragmented android....and n8's battery is way better than 90% Android devices......it has also got amoled screen which is very good...galaxy s2 has 217 ppi and n8 has 210ppi so not a big difference....
All Android phones are made up of plastic except for some htc which feel cheap...aluminum on n8 feels like premium....
N8 has some exceptional features like hdmi,fm transmitter, usb on the go,xenon flash.....android has way to go for making a combo device like this...

N8 is only good for photo shots. Performance & feature wise, it is losing out to competition. Face the fact now fans, it is already 2012.

Why SONY can't they use these sensors in the handsets to be announced in February? If the sensors are already announced, why is it difficult to use them in a month?

AnonD-38309, 23 Jan 2012Oh boy at all the Nokia fans... Just let me ask you one ... moreYou keep talking about CPU but this is about camera and its image sensor. You better look at this link before you open you're mouth http://www.photographyblog.com/articles/aerial_photography_-_with_a_camera_phone/ So you'll see why Nokia is so far ahead in terms of camera quality and performance. So, think twice before you speak.

Oh boy at all the Nokia fans...

Just let me ask you one question, does it take 2 or 3 minutes to take a single shot? And if it takes it in less, does the phone crash because it only has a 600 MHZ processor? Oh Oh oh, I also forgot...do you have to take your charger wherever you go so you can charge your 1200 MAH battery? Oh oh oh let me guess again, you can't actually take good photos with the N8 and view them on the N8 because the screen resolution is 360 x 640 pixels? Urm what else...oh, good luck recording videos with 720P tablet quality camera. I also didn't want to mention out a lot more of the crap on Symbian because you would cry.

Lol, all these sad N8/Nokia(in general) fanboys badmouthing Sony should seriously get a life! N8 had a great camera without a doubt, but sucked in other aspects. Technology keeps evolving every day, feature sizes keep getting smaller, fabrication technologies improve, processing technologies improve every day. People actually just want a decent camera in a phone, not a DSLR!People want more compact devices, with as much features as possible.
And for those ignorant people who are doubting Sony's capabilities on the camera front, let me remind you that they produce sensors for Nikon cameras and iphone 4S and iphone 4S has the best 8 MP camera on the market right now. They definitely do know a thing or two about cameras.

Video recording will probably have mono sound to make up for the nicer picture. Seems to be the way with these smartphones - give them one thing but mess something else up.

Great idea just makes the sky look white nd no detail so i think it should have a light sensor to detect the time it needs to be deployed and maybe it could work on the dark bit ov pictures and leave the bits with light left alone for a non washed out look
