Another miss. Playbook 3G due in May and again nothing so more lost sales, with no info coming from Rim. Simply bad management. I like BB but now think they will fall on their sword as no one will buy product which is stock-piled, already obsolete with BB10 announced, and from a company whose share value means their final demise is well underway.

I don't agree with most of negative comments about BB. I use Bold 9780 and 9900 and they are both great machines! I wouldn't change them for any other brand! What I need from BB is a dual SIM 3G device.
BB devices have style and they are working without mistakes for me.

RIM is not in the picture. The future of mobile handsets by RIM is dark.

TruthSeekr, 30 Jan 2012RIM is one of those rare companies that have a lot of aweso... moreThe problem with RIM is not because they're really sucks. They were great, but the competitor is catching up, and they don't invent something new.

So, it like RIM product were score 88 in enterprise while the competitor score were only 30. But over the year the competitor manage to reach 85, while RIM stay at score 88.

The problem were even worse when you count that in term of non-enterprise, such as web browser RIM try to catch up with competitor, but the competitor is running at exponential speed, while RIM is slowly walking.

So, bye2 rim, we're sorry, but your product now is outdated. The need of non-plain-vanilla internet is also outdated.

RIM is one of those rare companies that have a lot of awesome, unique tech (who else has Enterprise PIM on dedicated, encrypted servers?) and the potential to bring out incredible products...

...and yet blew away their chances with lousy marketing and poor vision.

good bye bb, good bye rim.

Despite the small amount of apps(vs Android/ Ios) and default missing apps(calendar, mail) that will come in Os 2.0, Playbook is one of the best tablets in the market. RIM marketing was poor.

As long as Indonesia still exists, RIM will make it through another decade.
People in Indonesia is carrying 2-3 phones and 1 of it is sure BB. BB Messenger is no doubt the great chatting app for the community.

Own a Galaxy Note now and trying to totally switch platform but it seems tough.
Android has problem with battery life and my business contacts seem not interested to use Whatsapp as replacement to BBM.

Hey RIM, this doesn't mean I praise you. For such price range phones, your handsets durability SUCKS !!!
I scrapped a BB every year......

They should come with the Playbook 3G version past year's fall and now with 9.something or 10.1 tablet with 1.5 Ghz dual core to stay in this business. Upcoming phones though aren't so pathetic ...but more. BB London is just an maybe or maybe not phone and that's RIM.
Whi it is so hard to deliver something good to stay in this business? ... despite orthers hidden interests

Stevo, 27 Jan 2012I have to say by visiting this site few time a day for the ... moreI'm replying on this to someone named "Stevo" who claims to had acquired an HTC Sensation XE and he feels disappointed about it, he also claims he can't wait get back to BlackBerry.

My Quote: BlackBerry has already been on it's era, BlackBerry now is getting like an old fashion brand, several users claim to find BlackBerry Messenger as a pretty bored chat and e-mail platform and they claim to see pointless the need of a "Pin" to communicate to someone, not to mention the pretty old technology that BlackBerry phones sport, now the quality materials is one sad thing with BlackBerry because those plastics look and feel cheap, the BlackBerry OS still needs a lot of work to compete ahead with Android, the camera, well that has always been a tragedy with BB, those phones don't have quite a great camera, they still got those Five MegaPixels and if yo check for quality that doesn't looks very good, here I'll leave you a link for you to check yourselfs of what I'm talking about:

                                      http://www.gsmarena.com/piccmp.php3?idType=1&idPhone1=4331&idPhone2=3926&idPhone3=3722

So if you check that link you'll see that BlackBerry handsets took pictures like those old phones that were the first ones to sport a camera, so doesn't BlackBerry has taken into account that now at days we users almost having a great quality camera on our phone is almost a need?

Now going with the HTC Sensation XE, we got a fantastic handset with the best UI (User Interface) thanks to HTC Sense 3 and we got ourselves a great camera, excellent hardware performance, excellent build quality, great sound, fantastic display and of course the great Android OS which is open to a lot of customization, development, and it's very practical and functional, and is the best OS with the most useful notification system.

So I will ask now, can you play Modern Combat 3 or Shadowgun on your BlackBerry?

Can you work with AutoCAD on your BlackBerry?

Can you use your BB camera take a shot and get an amazing quality pic?

Do you got up to 20MBPS of both Download and Upload with your BlackBerry?

Obviously all answers were "No", with HTC you cover all of them with a "YES" as answer and the new HTC Velocity is capable of covering those 20MBPS of both Upload and Download Speeds.

                                      See the problem here?

BlackBerry is getting to old fashion and boring, nothing new, still that technology and designs way from what? 2 or 3 years or even more?

So without loosing the track of the subject I'm talking about, what do you prefer an old fashion BB Curve or the new HTC Sensation XE?

I don't know if people of RIM are lazy or they just don't care about they're BlackBerry brand, and I say this because check on the BlackBerry Curve it has several years it first appeared on the market and still here in 2012 the Curve still exist, I bet that for the year 2152 BlackBerry would still have that Curve model or they just would go on bankruptcy, no wait!, definitely they'll go on bankruptcy.
