Mate 9 has already received Android Pie this February, I also saw another news regarding Android Pie update on Mate 9 two to three days before. Either they are drunk or in confusion giving false statements.

Not happy that they are not updating the Y9. They updated the Honor 8X which is basically the same phone.

Didn't Mate 9 already get Pie earlier this year, like a few months ago? I remember seeing news about it. My Mate 9 didn't get it, since I upgraded my phone around that time.

I will blame Huawei for the software update. When will my Huawei Nova 2i ( Mate 10 Lite, Maimang 6 (China), Huawei Honor 9i (India), Huawei G10) an update for Android Pie?
