F8, 06 Jun 2019Go for Oneplus 7 without any doubt.Yup. I don't mind the notch. Battery endurance is pretty much the same. But the lack of headphone jack on oneplus 7 is something i'd miss. Still waiting for the review.

Professional, 06 Jun 2019It doesn't unlock with a photo!They improved the software!Unless you use a 3D image sensor like infrared to image the face of owner, its basically a 2D sensor and yes, it can unlock with the photo of owner.

Anonymous, 06 Jun 2019Everyone can make you open your phone while holdkng a knifeYes, but not likely at random, such as tourist theft. Usually that would be a well known target that the "one with the knife" wants something more than just the victim's phone unlocked.
Something similar happened in Oslo. A rich man was assaulted in his home and nearly drowned in his bathtub filled with ice and cold water to have him not only unlock his phone, but also transfer money from his accounts. Sadly for him, because he himself did the transaction, neither his bank or insurance company could help with his new financial situation.

Professional, 06 Jun 2019It doesn't unlock with a photo!They improved the software!Sure..., for that reason they advice you that is not as secure as other options. In other words, if you want a secure unlock method and you have important things at your phone... don't use the 2D face unlock!!!

Much easier to "wave" the phone in front of you to unlock and run, or hide it in something else - like a colorful frame with text asking for something - that they show you and your phone is unlocked.
Face unlock is only for convenience, not safety. The whole 3D face unlock is safe as long as you are not around your phone, how often is that? Most phones are lifted off a subject, not just found on the ground at random.

In my country K20 Pro is $505 & Oneplus 7 is $500. Both 8gb/256gb. Both china rom. Tough choice. Waiting for global rom & gsmarena review.
