They should provide us with both versions of phones with different chipsets. i don't live in let area and probably won't have it for at least another year. id rather have a great performing phone. and to me that would be with the exynos chipset. just like the att version of the s2 before the skyrocket came out. its been said time and time again and proven over and over that the snapdragons can't perform to the level of the exynos.

At $300, it's just not a good buy when you can get one from ebay at $650 - minus the 2 years contract. Is lte even that fast & widely available to consider it a pro?

I could care less about "LTE" man I dont know whats the big deal about it, they always claim these crazy fast speeds but unless you live in a big city its pointless. Its not in my area and who knows how long it will take to get here, i use wifi most of the time anyway so would definitely get the international version instead.

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2012Of course it does.....a radio provides 4g not the chipset! ... moreYou can't provide examples because you are wrong. Qualcomm's LTE radio requires their chipset/processor which is why EVERY SINGLE LTE phone so far runs on the same radio/processor. Korea's LTE Note is also using a Snapdragon.
"The 3G version of the Galaxy Note uses a Samsung Exynos processor but the LTE version has Qualcomm's Snapdragon, which supports both 3G and LTE using a single chip. Unfortunately, a number of tech experts claim that the Exynos chips have better performance than Snapdragon."
