            I just switched to OP7PRO after owning HTC 10 and U11.

            I am not going to talk about how these compare to each other, I will only mention, I am still on Android 8 on the U11, and I got that installed after jumping through hoops, changing CID, or I'd still be on Android 7...

            I'm tired of HTC. THEY SUCK. Even though they make awesome phones....

              Kinda expensive for what it offers, i'd still go for the K20 pro once it becomes available, $360

                  Its not an essential feature such as IR Blaster, Radio, Wireless charging, NFC, Micro SD Slot etc. Any phone from any brand can sell pretty well even without theses said above.

                      ex Market Dominator is looking like a struggler with Poor Price Tag..
                      they need to bring down price tag and consider themselves as underdog.otherwise there won't be ashes left of HTC.

                            HTC really need to give up the mid range and high end market. Only w idiot would buy them.
                            They might as well try hard to make inroads to the budget market and challenge the likes of Huawei , Xiaomi, Nokia to keep their brand presence alive and stick to niche AR VR stuff.

                              I find it strange HTC would use OLED in midrangers instead of their flagships..and it's been like what, almost 4 years since they last used it!? Anyways, unless this comes with extra features such as LOUD stereo speakers, I find no reason to prefer this over other midrange / flagship phones despite being HTC's best midranger yet. Not surprising that it would be priced high in Taiwan. Asus Zenfone 6 being slightly more expensive there is better value.

                                    Anonymous, 11 Jun 2019Boom sound is stereo But they never have used their flagship sensors on their mid range phones. So i doubt they'll do now. The sensor size matter a lot and the stabilization too. The U12+ and Exodus 1 use big ones with laser AF and OIS. This 12 Mp doesn't have OIS and laser AF either and seems to be smaller in size.

                                      It definitely looks better than any Pixel ever has, and that transparent purple is complete dope. HTC has had cameras in the same league as the Pixel (U12+), and they have full pro mode for the camera, so it will be interesting. Not saying the camera will be better than the Pixel, but it's a safe bet it will be excellent.
