Like the other comments mention forget about how thin the phone is we want better battery life.

I made my GS2 thicker by buying the 2000mah battery with the new back cover and I have not noticed the difference at all.

And what about the battery - they want to put a decent battery in a phone so thin? If they won't come with 2000 mAh or more then my next phone will be Motorola.

yeah the thickness is not an issue...
the lifespan of battery or the features of the phone
try to use the net, while having mp3, while texting,
          while your wifi is on

              the battery life IS...
so quit doing 2mm thick phones with 2 hours of battery life...
              wake up!

While its really cool to have a thin phone, I'd rather want a slightly thick (9-10 mm thickness) phone with a bigger battery in this age of multi-core CPUs & n GB RAMs. I believe Moto Razr MAXX is THE BEST smartphone now.

It just means that no matter when you're buying a phone you know it will have the best tech.

Okay... Now they exaggerated... 7 mm? Come on... In the first day it will brake. It happens when the phone is this thin. It will brake in the pocket. Fail if you ask me.

For gods sake. Apart from being less ergonomic than a thicker phone, why not making it 10mm thick and doubling the battery life that way???

                                  Samsung is crazy.
Life of the flagship device in the market should be longer than 1 year. It means, after it becomes available to get one in your local market, you have roughly 8 months of having "best smartphone" on the globe. After this period, it becomes rubish.
Samsung makes 3 flagships, while apple makes 2 and nokia just 1. Whitch is best investment?
