It's been quite a wait, but it's almost over.

Thanks for writing the article after my reddit post

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2019Dang, that person on Reddit must've been absolutely pissed ... moreI'm glad they responded but they already lost me as a customer. They told me 3 months after the phones worldwide release that my broken charging port wasn't covered and would be "$120 or less" to fix. They emailed me the next day stating it would be $300. After 3-4 months of checking eBay for the part I finally fixed it myself for $41 shipped. They are a horrible company.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2019Dang, that person on Reddit must've been absolutely pissed ... moreDude that was me I can't believe they actually released an update. I'm still never buying razer again because my charging port broke 3 months after the phones initial release and they refused to fix it under warranty. They quoted me "$120 or less" then sent an email saying it would be $300. Once the part was finally on eBay after about 3-4 months of searching I replaced it myself for the cost of $41 shipped

I would not buy from the company again. They only have two phones and have not even sent security updates to the first one for a whole year.

Dang, that person on Reddit must've been absolutely pissed if Razer responded, lol.

            Lol, that's sad.
However, the Razer Phone 2 is a pretty good device. It's better than the Google Pixel 3XL to be honest. And yes the lower brightness, small buttons, sharper corners, and slight body flex suck... not to mention the lack of a Headphone Jack and Average Camera (after Gcam port).

But I think Razer can easily overcome those in a third revision.
They can round-out the corners, extend the buttons, increase rigidity, and use new components like that 120Hz-Amoled display, Sony IMX 586 camera, and QSD 855+

Even without a Headphone Jack, it would be a good phone against the competitors, with its Stock Android, buttery 120Hz motion, and superior booming speakers. I mean, we need competitors against the ASUS RoG Phone2, as well as the Samsung S10+, the OnePlus 7pro, Nubia RedMagic 3 (or 3-Plus), and Xiaomi BlackShark 2 (or 2-Plus).
