Billy the Kid, 22 Feb 2012amazing I will never leave Nokia and the best phone is ... morei have a C7 and if nokia brings the carla update i will not change it for an shitti android as i'm thinking a few days ago... Symbian is great and the changing idea only came to my head because everything and everyone have an android... I love my 8Mp hd camera, the fm transmissor, the nokia maps in offline mode, the nokia panorama and symbian belle is hardly beautiful and functional than the others... And my C7 is beautifull!

Microsoft's is very similar SkyDrive which does the same thing with Xbox, Windows 8, and WP8... the good thing is that since they released them almost at the time neither can sue.

great job by nokia unlike samsung who wont provide ics update to even for there capable single core devices like galaxy s,w,ace+.
Meego is not dead they are developing an inhouse os called meletemi which will be a direct rip off of meego with qt support .windows appolo 8 details might be given at mwc god knows,but its really can do well,closely integrating,pc ,tablets,xbox and widows phone it will be a true ecosystem.which neither android nor ios can have.

what you see and love in the N9 is Maemo.. nokia dropped development with Intel on Meego because well Intel wasn't doing anything and it was just too much work to develop
supposedly Nokia hasn't dropped Maemo yet as we've heard rumors of Meltemi (another weather based codename that Nokia uses for their Maemo devices)
They're just not pushing it... which i agree is ridiculous and stupid

Another thing is that cnet was only passing the news on from MSNBC and I did my own research on Google Translate and it could be wrong but lumia in Spanish is lumia... lumia does mean river in Albanian, blizzard in Estonian, lights in Latin, and world in Romanian but the most logical translation is Finnish for snow since Nokia is Finnish... now Google translate maybe wrong but since it is used by several people everyday I doubt it.

Only thing CNET covers in detail is Apple.
