As the saying goes, good things comes to those who wait.
Literally the perfect device if you don't mind the initial trouble of saving, erasing and managing the phone's partitions in QFIL. It should be easy once you get used to it.

In fact, the value of LG phones increases in the long run. Not only does the price get cheaper, but enough time has passed for developers to create custom ROMs. This is the current situation right now, where it only costs $199 or less to buy the V35, and unofficial methods to unlock the bootloader have already been developed.
Reading this two year old thread shows that people are very blinded by the current situation. If only people can try seeing the bigger picture.

As usual the specs are great but the battery is small, there's no 8GB version and their skin and software updates are still horrendous.

Some do update their software with 2 big updates, but some do 3 and even 4! Just check Huawei (yes, Huawei, the Chinese brand once touted as the pariah of updates) Mate 10 and Mate 9 have 3 major updates (one that has API change). Oneplus 3 has 4 major updates! And all of them, including Samsung, has monthly security updates or at the very least once every 2 months.
What does LG phones get? 1 update and probably 3 security updates in its lifetime.
LG is spending their time in stupid things like coming up with names like ThinQ (can't even spell ThinK properly) and making announcements like setting up a dedicated Software Update center. That's why they have less time to update their phone.

Not just in case of this LG's device...but in general.
I NEED to pay THEM, so they could install their spyware in my home???
Shouldn't they have to PAY ME for my privacy?
And, on LGs topic...they should sell this device for like 600$ from the start, so maybe they would still be relevant in mobile industry.

LG phones typically only receive 1 major update since the release of the phone, and just a few security updates. Rebut my facts with facts if I am wrong, don't sidestep the main issue.

With Pie V35 is more awesome and it's the best type of all V30 series from LG. The price is cheap now but the phone is great. Love this phone.

So if we want to stay update with Android we have to buy phone every 2 year at least. LG gives update to V35 and other types. With Pie V35 ThinQ is a terrific and it is the best of all LG V30 series. Even my V30 with Oreo is fantastic.
